Dear Jared,

I am Andrea Martocchia, of the Italian Coordination for Yugoslavia
(CNJ).
Some months ago we received a complaint from you, because we had
distributed on JUGOINFO a message, containing strong criticism againsts
Elie Wiesel, and in which the crimes committed by the Sharon government
in Israel were mentioned too.
At the time you promised to comment about Elie Wiesel's anti-yugoslav
and serbophobic inclinations.
However, since then we have been receiving from you and your
collaborators a big amount of materials - which should among others
"document the Nazi roots of the Palestinian leaders" - but not one
single word about Elie Wiesel.

Actually, we are still convinced that not only Elie Wiesel's
anti-yugoslav and serbophobic inclinations should be urgently commented
from your side; we are also convinced that the very negative attitude
of influential jewish personalities (1) and groups (2) towards
Yugoslavia should be finally exposed and commented, especially by other
Jews, like you, who may be able to clarify the strong contradictions
which appear to exist within the jewish world, with respect to
Yugoslavia.

We think that within every people or culture it may be possible to find
different opinions on any possible issue, including the Jews and
including Yugoslavia... One can find good and bad individuals, tolerant
or fanatic personalities, open-minded or tribalistic attitudes,
democrats as well as fascists.
Don't you agree?

(1) Apart from Elie Wiesel, it would be very important to expose the
dirty job made by some French "intellectuals" of jewish origin, like
Henri-Levy, Glucksmann, Finkielkraut, who have been spreading hate
against the Serbs and Yugoslavia all the time.
