MILOSEVIC: ILLEGITTIMO PROCESSO ALL'AJA, FIDEL CASTRO

(ANSA) - L'AVANA, 29 GIU - Il presidente cubano Fidel Castro ha
definito ''illegittimi'' l'estradizione all'Aja e il procedimento
giudiziario del Tribunale internazionale nei confronti dell'ex
presidente jugoslavo Slobodan Milosevic.
arresti dell'ex presidente argentino Carlos Menem e dell'ex
capo dei servizi segreti peruviani Vladimiro Montesinos. (ANSA). BRN

(ANSA-AFP). DIG

Subject: RAF kidnap Slobo
Date: Fri, 29 Jun 2001 01:49:02 +0100
From: "cana.london" <cana.london@...>

CANA STATEMENT: Immediate Release

RAF AIR CREW MINISTERS & COMMANDERS TO BE INDICTED IN UK COURTS FOR
KIDNAPPING

I have just heard on BBC television that the former head of state of the
Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Slobodan Milosevic, has been transported
to Holland by an RAF plane.

If this proves to be true, later today I will be visiting the British
Ministry of Defence to ask for the names of the pilots & air crew
of the aircraft involved, so that their names can be included in an
indictment I plan to lodge at the Crown Court on the charge of
kidnapping.

If the MOD refuse to give me these names, I will instead proceed against
the appropriate Minister, senior civil servants & RAF commanders, whose
names are known, & who gave the orders & acted as accomplices in the
illegal abduction of a foreign national.

I hope others might consider other moves, such as applying for a writ of
Habeus Corpus, but such a writ would have to be directed I presume
against the Dutch authorities.

What Britain has done & Mr Tony Blair has endorsed is a loathsome act of
international brigandage.

It makes the RAF no better than the Barbary pirates.

I denounce the George Soros/ Warner Bros/ Mickey Mouse illegally
financed institution @ the Hague masquerading as a UN Court, whose
operations are entirely selective, & which refused to investigate my
earlier allegations of war crimes perpetrated by the NATO leaders,
including the British PM, in the March 1999 illegal war by the NATO
powers on the FRY.

It is the duty of the Federal President of Yugoslavia & the security
forces of Yugoslavia to arrest those members of the Serbian so called
Government for breaching the law & Constitution of the state,
consorting with enemy powers, & illegally depriving Slobodan Milosevic
of his liberty.

I believe the peoples of Europe, who have had ample experience of
fighting fascism in the past, have now to rise up against the
neo- fascist globalist rulers of the new corporate Europe, & take all
necessary steps to restore the rule of law & democracy to
this Continent, a rule of law which has been subverted by EU-Nato's
operations, both in the Former Yugoslavia, & against the
present FRY, & now the state of Macedonia, which Nato is also seeking to
dismember, using Albanian surrogates.

What is most disturbing is the wholesale media censorship & the use of
propaganda to form public opinion in Yugoslavia & the rest of Europe, as
wielded by irresponsible untruthful & corrupt organisations, such as
the BBC & CNN.

I would very much wish to be in Belgrade for the rally planned later
today but hope this press release can be read out by one of my Yugoslav
friends & comrades, & the Yugoslav people should be assured that the
English people, & Londoners are with Serbia 100% in the battle against
the worthless & immoral Djindjic criminal clique, & the NATO occupation
forces in Kosovo & Bosnia, which forces must be removed, and the US base
at Camp Bondsteel permanently dismantled.

Yesterday Yugoslavia was raped by evil forces, every bit as evil as
those of Adolph Hitler

Yet Serbia has fallen before, on the field of Kosovo, on the 28th June,
in a former era, & then its worthy soldiers sought a
heavenly kingdom, preferring death to dishonour & shame, & so the
peoples of Europe, from the left & right, must form together
a new popular front against fascism, globalism, EU & NATO German
militarism + American imperialism, which evil forces are
strangling democracy/socialism & the free life of national states on
this continent.

Russia Deputy Says Milosevic Handover Serves NATO
MOSCOW (Reuters) - A leading Russian member of
parliament said on Thursday that the transfer of
former Yugoslav president Slobodan Milosevic to the
U.N. war crimes tribunal provided NATO with a cover
for its 1999 bombing of Yugoslavia.

``Transferring Milosevic to The Hague in fact means
that NATO has at last received a cover for its
aggression against Yugoslavia in 1999,'' Dmitry
Rogozin told RTR state television.

Rogozin, head of the State Duma lower house's
International Affairs Committee, also predicted
Yugoslavia would plunge into crisis. He made his
comments after a tribunal spokesman said Milosevic was
on his way to The Hague to face war crimes charges.

Russian authorities have issued no statement on the
action. Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov refused to
comment on the issue this week, saying it was a matter
for Yugoslavs to decide.

The Duma had earlier passed a resolution urging
authorities in Belgrade not to hand over Milosevic,
saying such a move would undermine European security
and split Yugoslav society.

Russia backed Milosevic in 1999 against NATO's air
campaign. It later played a key role in ensuring a
smooth transfer of power after Milosevic gave up his
bid to cling to power and acknowledged losing a
presidential election last year to Vojislav Kostunica.

Rogozin, who was attending a Council of Europe meeting
in the French city of Strasbourg, told Russia's state
RTR television that Milosevic's transfer indicated
that the international committee mistrusted the
Yugoslav legal system.

He said it also meant Belgrade authorities had given
in to demands to turn over the ex-president in return
for U.S. pledges to take part in a donor's conference
to back Yugoslav reforms.

``They got want they wanted. The blackmail worked in
full,'' he said. ``This will inevitably lead to a
crisis in Yugoslavia.''

Russia's parliament was much more vocal than the
Kremlin in backing Milosevic throughout the 11-week
1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia in response to
Belgrade's crackdown on ethnic Albanians in Serbia's
Kosovo province.

The parliaments in Russia and neighboring Belarus even
voted to agree to the Yugoslav parliament's request to
join their ''union state.'' The Russian-Belarus union
was first approved in 1996 but remains vague in its
powers and authority.

Ramsey Clark, Chairperson

June 28, 2001
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

INTERNATIONAL ACTION CENTER CONDEMNS "ILLEGAL, U.S.-FORCED
DEPORTATION OF EX- YUGOSLAV PRESIDENT SLOBODAN MILOSEVIC TO
NATO-SPONSORED COURT"

"AN ENORMOUS TRAGEDY FOR YUGOSLAVIA AND THE RULE OF LAW,"
SAYS FORMER U.S. ATTORNEY GENERAL RAMSEY CLARK

The International Action Center (IAC), a nationwide anti-war
organization, denounced today's deportation of ex-Yugoslav
President Slobodan Milosevic to the "International Criminal
Court for the Former Yugoslavia" in The Hague, Netherlands.

"It is an enormous tragedy for Yugoslavia, the Serbian
people and the rule of law," said IAC Chairperson and former
U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark. "Serbian Prime Minister
Djindjic and other officials should be investigated for high
crimes against the people, and if found guilty should be
sentenced in accordance with the law."

"Demands should be made to the ICCFY," Mr. Clark continued,
"which is itself illegal, to immediately return Mr.
Milosevic. The United Nations must not encourage the illegal
seizure of persons, such as took place in this case. The
people of Yugoslavia should unite in response to this
illegal seizure and demand the return of Mr. Milosevic, as
should people from all over the world.

"Today's U.S.-engineered deportation of former Yugoslav
President Slobodan Milosevic is a gross violation of both
legality and Yugoslavia's national sovereignty," said IAC
West Coast Coordinator Richard Becker. "The ICCFY in The
Hague is nothing more than a 'kangaroo court,' set up by the
U.S.-dominated UN Security Council, and run by the NATO
powers."

"The ICCFY's role as an instrument of the United States and
other NATO powers was made apparent during the 1999 NATO war
against Yugoslavia. Despite the fact that the massive
bombing of Yugoslavia constituted grave violations of
international law -- including crimes against peace, war
crimes and crimes against humanity -- the ICCFY refused to
even consider indicting the NATO powers," Becker continued.
Instead, the ICCFY indicted five Yugoslav leaders, among
them then-President Milosevic. NATO spokesperson Jamie Shea
stated in May 1999, "Of course NATO supports the ICCFY --
NATO created it."

Sara Flounders, National Co-Director of the IAC, pointed out
the fact that "Milosevic's deportation violated Yugoslavia's
constitution, and decisions of its federal president,
parliament and Consititutional Court. The extradition of
Milosevic was carried out today under the orders of the #1
U.S. lapdog politician in Yugoslavia, Zoran Djindjic, prime
minister of Serbia. In the recent election, Djindjic and his
party were the main conduits for U.S. funds. The U.S.
government openly boasts of having spent more than $100
million fixing the election in Yugoslavia, a country of 10
million people. The equivalent would be a foreign government
spending $2.8 billion to influence a national election in
the U.S.

"Today, Djindjic overrode the federal courts, parliament and
president of Yugoslavia in order to deliver Milosevic to the
imperialist's court one day before the Yugoslavia "donors
conference" (really the creditors conference) opens,"
Flounders continued. "Milosevic was sold to the U.S. by
their man in Belgrade. Imagine a governor of state in the
U.S. overriding the federal government and constitution to
surrender a U.S. citizen to another country."

"The objective of this step is not just, or even primarily,
Milosevic himself," said Becker. "The deportation of
Milosevic is another element aimed at terminating
Yugoslavia's sovereignty once and for all. For more than a
decade the U.S. and NATO have used war, blockades, sanctions
and other means to re-balkanize the Balkans. Today, as a
result, U.S. military bases dominate the region -- in
Croatia, Bosnia, Albania, Hungary, Macedonia, Kosovo
(Serbia) -- where there were none 10 years ago. Yugoslavia's
real crime was that it resisted this re-colonization
process."

"The IAC stands with those in Yugoslavia today who are
resisting the U.S./NATO takeover of their country," said
Flounders, noting that an IAC delegation is presently en
route to Yugoslavia.
