CHI L'HA DETTO?
Lo Stato polacco ha rifiutato la risoluzione pacifica delle relazioni
che io avrei desiderato, ed ha chiamato alle armi. I tedeschi in
Polonia sono perseguitati con il terrore sanguinario e sono scacciati
dalle loro case. Una serie di violazioni delle frontiere,
intollerabili per una grande potenza, dimostrano che la Polonia non e'
piu' intenzionata a rispettare i confini del Reich.
Per porre fine a questa follia io non ho altra scelta che quella di
usare la forza d'ora in avanti...
Siamo giunti alla conclusione che domani sara' un giorno di verita'
per il mondo. Molte nazioni hanno annunciato che si impegneranno per
la pace e per la sicurezza, e dunque adesso devono dimostrare che si
impegneranno per la pace e per la sicurezza nell'unico modo possibile:
appoggiando il disarmo immediato ed incondizionato di Saddam Hussein.
...Il dittatore iracheno e le sue armi di distruzione di massa sono
una minaccia per la sicurezza delle nazioni libere. Egli rappresenta
un pericolo per i suoi vicini. Egli e' uno sponsor del terrorismo.
Egli rappresenta un ostacolo per il progresso del Medio Oriente...
