Il Forum Belgrado per un Mondo di Eguali, la
Lega dei Veterani della Lotta di Liberazione
della Serbia ed l'Associazione dei Generali e
Ammiragli di Serbia, hanno organizzato una
serie di iniziative per commemorare il 13°
anniversario dell'aggressione della NATO
contro la Serbia (RF Jugoslavia).
Un aggressione costata oltre 3500 morti, oltre
10.000 feriti, due terzi di essi civili e
oltre 100 miliardi di dollari in danni
economici.
Durante i 78 giorni di bombardamenti continui
la NATO ha usato missili e proiettili
all'uranio impoverito, provocando un
avvelenamento e inquinamento per decine di
anni del suolo, dell'acqua, del cibo e uno
spaventoso aumento di decessi per tumori e
leucemie, nella popolazione civile.

NATO".

- Sabato 24 Marzo, una delegazione ha portato
delle corone
di fiori presso il Monumento ai
bambini, vittime dei bombardamenti NATO
nel Parco Tasmajdan, e alle ore 12, si č recata
al Monumento della Fiamma Eterna dei caduti a
Usce, Novi Beograd.

Србије и ове године организују
комеморативне активности поводом 13.
годишњице од почетка агресије НАТО
пакта против Србије (СРЈ).
У петак,
23 марта 2012. године, у 11
часова одржаће се Округли
сто на тему „Косово
и Метохија – 13 година после
агресије НАТО“.
Истог дана у 13:30 часова, одржаће се
премијера филма “Од Београда до
Багдада”, канадских аутора Радослава
Огњеновића, редитеља и Скота
Тејлора, новинара и публицисте.
Оба ова догађаја одржаће се у
Амфитеатру Сава Центра, Нови Београд,
улаз из улице Милентија Поповића бр.9.
У суботу,
24 марта 2012. године, у 12
часова, организатори, друга удружења
грађана и појединци, положиће венце и
цвеће на споменик жртвама агресије, на
Ушћу, Нови Београд.
Част нам је да Вас позовемо да
присуствујете овим комеморативним
догађајима како би смо на тај начин
заједнички исказали поштовање према
многобројним људским жртвама НАТО
агресора и послали поруку мира.

EVENTS ON THE 13TH ANNIVERSARY OF
THE NATO AGGRESSION
Independent, nonparty civic
associations – The Belgrade Forum for
a World of Equals, The League of
Veterans of the People’s Liberation
Struggle of Serbia and the Club of
Generals and Admirals of Serbia are
organizing traditional commemorative
activities on the occasion of 13th
anniversary of the NATO 1999
aggression against Serbia (FR
Yugoslavia). The aggression has caused
over 3.500 deaths, over 10.000
wounded, two thirds of whom were
civilians and over 100 billion US
dollars economic damage. During 78
days of constant bombings NATO has
used missiles with the depleted
uranium causing lasting pollution of
the soil, water and food and malignant
deceases and deaths.
On Friday,
March 23rd, 2012, at 11 a.m.
there will be held the round table “Kosovo and
Metohija 13 years after NATO
Aggression”, in the Sava
Conference Center (Amphitheater), Main
entrance, Street Milentije Popovic
No.9. The Round table will be followed
by the documentary film “From Belgrade
to Baghdad”, of Canadian
authors Radoslav Ognjenovic, Director,
and Scott Taylor, journalist and
publicist. Free Entrance.
On Saturday,
March 24rth, 2012, at 11 a.m.
delegations will lay flowers at the
Monument to the children victims in
the Tasmajdan Park and at 12 noon to
the Monument of Eternal Flame at Usce,
New Belgrade
The public is welcome to attend these
events to pay respect to the victims
and send common message of peace.

"NATO's
military intervention paved way for
separatism"
BELGRADE: A gathering dedicated to the
13th anniversary of the start of NATO
aerial war against the former Federal
Republic of Yugoslavia (SRJ) was held
in Belgrade.
The gathering heard today that the
campaign had been conducted against
all provisions of international law
and UN Security Council resolutions.
NATO's military aggression against the
SRJ paved the way for separatism in
Kosovo, Russian Ambassador Aleksandr
Konuzin said during the even dubbed, "Kosovo
and Metohija - 13 Years after NATO
Aggression".
"It was no coincidence that members of
the (ethnic Albanian) Kosovo
Liberation Army at the time, who are
today high-ranking officials in
Kosovo, spoke openly how NATO was
fighting on their side," Konuzin
stated.
It is obvious today that the
unilateral declaration of independence
by Kosovo was part of the
Euro-Atlantic plan to partition
Serbia, Konuzin noted.
"The Kosovo issue is still open, and
Kosovo has become a testing range for
illegal political meddling in internal
affairs of sovereign countries with
the use of force," he pointed out.
The meeting was organized by the
Belgrade Forum for the World of
Equals, SUBNOR and the Club of
Generals and Admirals. The speakers
included former high-level officials
of the SRJ Vladislav Jovanović and
Živadin Jovanović.
Belarus Ambassador to Serbia Vladimir
Gusev and representatives of the
Chinese and Iranian embassies also
attended.
Victims to be honored in
southeastern town
A day of mourning for the victims of
the 1999 war will be marked on
Saturday in Aleksinac, a town in
southeastern Serbia which suffered one
of the most brutal NATO attacks during
the 11-week air campaign against the
Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SRJ)
13 years ago.
Wreaths will be placed at a memorial
site by Serbian President Boris Tadić,
Defense Minister Dragan Šutanovac, and
Chief-of-Staff of the Serbian Army
Gen. Ljubiša Diković.
Aleksinac, a town with a population of
17,000 located in the valley of the
Južna Morava River, was targeted with
six powerful missiles striking a
residential area on April 5, 1999, at
21:35 CET.
The attack killed 11 people, at the
same time injuring 50 citizens.
The 13th night of air strikes left
Aleksinac downtown ruined, with severe
damages on 35 family homes, 125
apartments, a number of businesses,
health care center, the local bus
station, and other facilities.
NATO representatives in Brussels
claimed that the missiles had "gone
off course due to a technical error",
adding that "the real target" were
army barracks located near the town.
Upon visiting the ruins in Aleksinac,
retired Canadian Maj. Gen. Lewis
MacKenzie - who in the early 1990s
commanded UN peacekeepers in Bosnia -
stated that it was "a crime against
civilians - peaceful citizens in their
family homes, in the area with
absolutely no military facility".
In the spring of 1999, Aleksinac was
attacked on a number of occasions,
with the total death toll of 24
residents.
NATO's 78-day war against Serbia,
launched on March 24, 1999, resulted
in the deaths of 2,500 civilians, 89
of whom were children, Tanjug news
agency is reporting.

Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to

Monday respects to the Chinese journalists
killed in the NATO bombing that took place 13
years ago.

They laid wreaths at the site of the former
Chinese embassy in New Belgrade, which at 11:45
p.m. on May 7, 1999, suffered a blast that left
three Chinese journalists dead.
In 2009, then Chinese Ambassador to Belgrade Wei
Jinghua and Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas
unveiled a plaque in memory of the Chinese
journalists: Xu Xinghu and Zhu Ying,
correspondents of the Guang Ming Daily, and Shao
Yunhuan, a correspondent of the Xinhua news
agency.

ГОДИНА ОД БОМБАРДОВАЊА ВАРВАРИНА

Данас се навршава 13 година од убиства
десеторо и рањавања више десетина
грађана Варварина током бомбардовања
моста, од авијације НАТО на Великој Морави у
том шумадијском граду. Међу погинулима је била
и Сања Миленковић, ученица Математичке
гимназије у Београду, победница многих
регионалних и европских такмичара младих
математичара. По њеном имену 1999.
Године, основан је Фонд за стипендирање
талената из математике и техничких наука за
који су средства обезбедили припадници српског
расејања.
Поводом ове годишњице, синоћ је у Дому културе
у Варварину одржана промоција књиге – зборника
„СРБИЈА И НАТО“, у издању Београдског форума
за свет равноправних. Присутне грађане и
учеснике промоције поздравио је председник
Општине Варварин, Професор Зоран Миленковић,
отац покојне Сање Миленковић. О књизи су
говорили предсеник Београдског форума Живадин
Јовановић, генерал у пензији Радован Радиновић
и бивши амбасадори Др Станислав Стојановић и
Драгомир Вучићевић.
Основне поруке свих учесника промоције су да
се злочини као што је бомбардовање Варварина и
убиство његових грађана, не смеју заборавити и
да за агресију НАТО на Србију (СРЈ) нема
оправдања. Књига „СРБИЈА И НАТО“ , оцењено је,
представља велики допринос разумевању правих
узрока и циљева агресије који се виде у
стварању преседана, одузимању Косова и
Метохије од Србије и ширењу НАТО на Исток.
Учесници промоције су подсетили на чињеницу да
се око 70 одсто грађана Србије противи
чланству у НАТО и истакли да Србији, као
мирољубивој европској земљи, није место у НАТО
– у као офанзивној, интервенциoнистичкој
војној организацији.
У програму су учествовали књижевници, песници
и ученици који су читали своје радове о
злочинима НАТО – а.
