Governo serbo cede al ricatto USA ?
I ricatti mafiosi degli Stati Uniti d'America hanno trovato immediato
riscontro nelle dichiarazioni del ministro delle finanze del governo
serbo, Mladjan Dinkic, secondo il quale Slobodan Milosevic non dovrebbe
essere fra i beneficiari della legge varata martedi' dal parlamento per
il sostegno economico ai detenuti del "tribunale" dell'Aia.
Dinkic - che e' stato negli ultimi anni capo della Banca Centrale
serba, ed in quanto tale e' corresponsabile delle politiche finanziarie
iperliberiste avviate dopo il golpe dell'ottobre 2000 sulla base delle
indicazioni delle istituzioni usurarie internazionali (FMI e BM), e che
hanno portato allo sfascio il paese - ha rilasciato queste
dichiarazioni in conferenza stampa, precisando che dal governo non e'
stata ancora varata una normativa in merito. Dinkic non ha precisato
se le sue fossero affermazioni personali o la posizione di tutto il
governo; tuttavia, proprio il giorno precedente gli USA avevano
annunciato il congelamento della prima tranche 2004 di "aiuti" (leggi:
prestiti a strozzo) per la SerbiaMontenegro, consistente in 25 milioni
di dollari; nello stesso giorno era stato notato il dislocamento di
miliziani "contras" UCK-TMK su tutto il territorio del Kosovo-Metohija.

Excellencies,
The horrific consequences of the illegal, unjustified and immoral Nato
aggression against Yugoslavia and the illegal Nato-UN occupation of the
Serbian province of Kosovo have now been harshly illuminated by the
fires of the burning churches in Kosovo and the cries of the victims of
the pogroms carried out by the Anglo-American backed fascist forces of
the KLA.
The echoes of the fascist exterminations of the Serbs in World War Two
are reverberating through the world amplified by the silence of the
great powers which are primarily responsible for the human tragedy now
taking place in the Balkans.
Those who oppose fascism and its reactionary supporters are condemned
to death by the terrorists who run riot in Kosovo or, like Slobodan
Milosevic, are imprisoned in the illegal inquisition of the Hague
Tribunal, prisoners of conscience; condemned only because they resist
the aggression, terror and the destruction of everything progressive by
the forces of "globalization".
The permanent members of the Security Council have a responsibility
under the UN Charter to find a solution to the situation in Kosovo
which respects the rights of the people of Serbia and which advances
the cause of national reconciliation in the Balkans instead of
instigating pogroms and the continued destabilization of the region for
the benefit of the United States, Britain and Germany and their desire
to control the region.
The permanent members also have a responsibility to the people of the
world and to history to abolish the Hague Tribunal which is revealed as
a tragic farce and a judicial abomination. The continuation of the
"trial" of Slobodan Milosevic when no evidence has been produced of any
of the charges concocted against him has brought international justice
into ruinous disrepute and has made a mockery of the phrase
"international law".
The United States and Britain must recognize the obvious, that the
trial of President Milosevic has failed in every respect in achieving
the political objectives motivating the trial. Russia, China and France
must recognize that their inexplicable support for this illegal
institution has brought them into disrepute; Russia because it is
perceived as betraying the Serbian people, China because it is
perceived as betraying the last remaining socialist nation in eastern
Europe and France because it has betrayed its commitment to justice and
peace in Europe and all three nations because they have betrayed the
very founding principles of the UN Charter.
There is only one solution to the Balkans crisis and that is the
abolition of the Hague Tribunal and the release of all the political
prisoners held by the UN without authority, the recognition of the
sovereignty of Serbia over all its territory including Kosovo, the
removal of all foreign forces of occupation from the Balkans as a
whole, and the creation of a council of national reconciliation the
purpose of which would be to bring together the peoples of Serbia of
all ethnicities in order to resolve their differences peacefully and
without external interference.

Russian Lawmakers Call For Milosevic Release From
Custody

MOSCOW (AP)--The Russian lower house of parliament Friday called for
former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic to be released from
custody while his trial by the U.N. war crimes tribunal on genocide
charges continues.
The trial in The Hague, Netherlands, "is already in its third year
without any prospects for a prompt or fair conclusion," the State Duma
said in a statement that passed with 234 votes in favor and 27 against.
Three lawmakers abstained.
The Duma statement said the lawmakers were "deeply concerned about the
state of (Milosevic's) heath," and complained that he was unable to
receive proper medical treatment and have regular contact with his
family.
The trial at the Yugoslav war crimes tribunal is in recess until June 8
when Milosevic is due to open his defense. He is defending himself
against 66 counts of war crimes.
The prosecution concluded its case last month after presenting nearly
300 witnesses and tens of thousands of pages of documents, in a trial
that has dragged on more than two years.

Sulla campagna di finanziamento
del Comitato Internazionale
per la Difesa di Slobodan Milosevic
La Sezione Italiana dell'ICDSM ringrazia tutti quelli che
hanno finora contribuito alla campagna di finanziamento
per la difesa di Milosevic: dall'Italia sono gia' state raccolte
alcune migliaia di euro. La richiesta dell'ICDSM internazionale,
tuttavia, e' che tali sforzi vengano RADDOPPIATI, poiche' le
spese sono ingenti: e' indispensabile raccogliere almeno
10mila euro al mese per far fronte a tutte le necessita' di
assistenza legale, di documentazione e di comunicazione.
NON ESISTONO ALTRE FONTI DI FINANZIAMENTO.
Una recente legge passata dal Parlamento serbo - che
in linea di principio garantirebbe una parziale copertura
delle spese - e' stata subito "congelata" in seguito alle
minacce occidentali.
Una qualsivoglia campagna di finanziamento su basi
volontarie a Belgrado e' praticamente irrealizzabile:
la situazione sociale e' disastrosa, a causa delle scelte
estremistiche, in senso neoliberista, del regime instaurato
il 5 ottobre 2000. Percio' la disoccupazione dilaga, i salari
sono da fame, chi ha i soldi per mangiare li tiene ben stretti
e non rischia certo la galera (o peggio: vedi le torture in carcere
nella primavera 2003, durante la cosiddetta "Operazione
Sciabola") in attivita' politiche o di solidarieta' a favore di
Milosevic, che viene tuttora demonizzato dai media locali -
oramai tutti in mano a societa' occidentali, soprattutto tedesche -
esattamente come da noi. I nuovi ricchi votano i partiti filo-
occidentali e di destra, e preferiscono che Milosevic marcisca
in carcere, insieme alla loro cattiva coscienza.
A tutti deve essere infine chiaro - se ancora ci fosse bisogno
di ripeterlo - che al di la' delle menzogne giornalistiche
NON ESISTE ALCUN "TESORO NASCOSTO" DI MILOSEVIC
e che il nostro impegno per la sua difesa e' insostituibile
oltreche' indispensabile.
Altrimenti, la storia tragica e vergognosa di questi anni la
scriveranno da soli i nemici della Jugoslavia, a base di
"sentenze giudiziarie" dettate dai servizi di intelligence della NATO.

esattamente come da noi. I nuovi ricchi votano i partiti filo-
occidentali e di destra, e preferiscono che Milosevic marcisca
in carcere, insieme alla loro cattiva coscienza.
A tutti deve essere infine chiaro - se ancora ci fosse bisogno
di ripeterlo - che al di la' delle menzogne giornalistiche
NON ESISTE ALCUN "TESORO NASCOSTO" DI MILOSEVIC
e che il nostro impegno per la sua difesa e' insostituibile
oltreche' indispensabile.
Altrimenti, la storia tragica e vergognosa di questi anni la
scriveranno da soli i nemici della Jugoslavia, a base di
"sentenze giudiziarie" dettate dai servizi di intelligence della NATO.
