Il Parlamento di Serbia-Montenegro ha ratificato l'accordo con la NATO
sul transito delle truppe di peacekeeping attraverso il territorio di
Serbia-Montenegro.
Un totale di 49 rappresentanti della Serbia hanno votato per la
ratifica, assieme a 19 montenegrini. Un totale di 33 rappresentanti ha
votato contro la legge, per la maggioranza membri del Partito Radicale
Serbo e del Partito Socialista della Serbia.
L'accordo era stato inizialmente firmato da Vuk Draskovic, ministro
degli affari esteri della Serbia-Montenegro, e da Jaap de Hoop
Scheffer, segretario generale della NATO, lo scorso 18 luglio. Esso
consente alle forze NATO, nonché alle attrezzature al loro seguito, di
viaggiare attraverso la Serbia-Montenegro senza alcun compenso
finanziario, autorizzando la Serbia-Montenegro a richiedere una cifra

Serbie-Monténégro.
Un total de 49 représentants de Serbie a voté pour la ratification,
ainsi que 19 du Monténégro. Un total de 33 représentants a voté contre
la loi, pour la plupart des membres du Parti radical serbe et du Parti
socialiste de Serbie.
L’accord a été initialement signé par Vuk Draskovic, ministre des
affaires étrangères de Serbie-Monténégro, et par Jaap de Hoop Scheffer,
secrétaire général de l’OTAN le 18 juillet. Il permet aux forces de
l’OTAN, ainsi qu’à l’équipement qui les accompagne, de voyager à
travers la Serbie-Monténégro sans aucune compensation financière,
autorisant la Serbie-Monténégro à demander un prix réduit pour ses

VIENNA -- Friday – The Serbia-Montenegro Parliament has ratified the
NATO agreement regarding the transit of peacekeeping troops through the
territory of Serbia-Montenegro.
A total of 49 officials from Serbia voted for the ratification, and 19
from Montenegro. Voting against the law where a total of 33
representatives, mostly members of the Serbian Radical Party and
Socialist Party of Serbia.
The agreement was initially signed by Serbia-Montenegro Foreign Affairs
Minister Vuk Draskovic and NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer
on July 18. It enables NATO forces, along with their accompanying
equipment, to travel through Serbia-Montenegro without any monetary
compensation, with Serbia-Montenegro being allowed to ask for a low
price for its services.
