"Das verbreitete Schweigen im Blätterwald
über den Fortgang des ,Prozesses'
gegen Slobodan Milosevic ist sehr beredt",
stellt Klaus Hartmann, Sprecher
der deutschen Sektion des Internationalen
Komitees für die Verteidigung von
Slobodan Milosevic fest: "Nichts beweist
besser, dass der ,Prozess' die
Erwartungen der Förderer des ,Tribunals'
in Den Haag maßlos enttäuscht hat.
Was als Schauprozess gedacht war, ist für
die Mehrzahl der Medien zum
Weg-Schauprozess geworden."

Das Internationale Komitee für die
Verteidigung von Slobodan Milosevic zieht
aus dem Desaster von Del Pontes
"Kosovo-Anklage" den zwingenden Schluss,
dass die unverzügliche Freilassung des
"Angeklagten" überfällig ist.

Die deutsche Sektion des ICDSM kritisiert,
dass offenbar vielfach nur
"genehme" Nachrichten als
verbreitungswürdig erachtet werden. Das
jüngste
Beispiel einer "unterdrückten Nachricht"
ist die Stellungnahme der
Sozialistischen Partei Serbiens zur
bisherigen "Prozessbilanz".
Wir dokumentieren sie nachstehend im
Wortlaut:

AN DIE ORGANISATION DER VEREINTEN
NATIONEN,
AN DAS BUNDESPARLAMENT JUGOSLAWIENS
AN DAS PARLAMENT DER REPUBLIK SERBIEN
AN DIE REGIERUNG UND DEN PRÄSIDENTEN DER
BUNDESREPUBLIK JUGOSLAWIEN
AN ALLE PATRIOTISCHEN PARTEIEN UND
EINZELPERSONEN
AN DIE ÖFFENTLICHKEIT IM IN- UND AUSLAND

RESOLUTION

Für die Freilassung von Präsident Slobodan
Milosevic

In Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass Präsident
Slobodan Milosevic in Den Haag
alle Behauptungen der sogenannten
Kosovo-Anklage in vollem Umfang widerlegt
hat, und dass selbst die Regeln des
sogenannten Haager Tribunals in einem
solchen Fall vorsehen, dass die Anklage
zurückzuweisen ist, fordert der
Vorstand der Sozialistischen Partei
Serbiens mit aller Entschiedenheit, dass

Präsident Slobodan Milosevic unverzüglich
freizulassen ist.

Alle Mitglieder der Sozialistischen Partei
Serbiens, die Mehrheit der Bürger
unseres Landes und ein Großteil der
internationalen Öffentlichkeit ist
überzeugt, dass diese Forderung erfüllt
werden muss. Sie alle teilen die
Auffassung, dass es im Interesse und zum
Nutzen der Stabilität auf dem
Balkan bzw. in unserem Teil Europas wäre,

NATO in Den Haag vergangen. Das
Marionetten-Regime in Belgrad verletzte in
flagranter Weise Verfassung und
Gesetze der Bundesrepublik Jugoslawien und
der Republik Serbien sowie
internationale Rechtsnormen. Darin lag
zugleich der Versuch dieses Regimes,
Freiheit und Demokratie in unserem Land zu
unterdrücken, um den Weg für
seine Zerschlagung, seine Besetzung und
seinen Ausverkauf frei zu machen.

Mehr als 90% der sogenannten Zeugen in Den
Haag kamen aus den NATO-Ländern
oder waren Mitglieder oder Sympathisanten
der terroristischen sogenannten
Kosovo-Befreiungsarmee (UCK). Einige
sogenannte "Insider" klagten, entgegen

sogenannte Strafkammer hemmungslos
doppelte Standards anwenden. NATO-Zeugen
ist es erlaubt, und sie werden noch
ermuntert, ungestört einen Haufen Lügen
aufzutischen und von vornherein Verbrechen
zu behaupten, die nicht
existieren, Werturteile abzugeben und ohne
Maß und Grenzen über persönliche
und menschliche Eigenschaften zu befinden.
Auf der anderen Seite werden die
von Präsident Slobodan Milosevic
vorgebrachten Argumente und Fragen brutal
unterbrochen, zurückgewiesen und als
irrelevant abgetan, nur weil diese
Argumente und Fragen die Wahrheit
enthüllen - denn die Wahrheit verletzt am
schmerzlichsten.

All dieser erbärmlichen und durchsichtigen
Versuche zum Trotz war dennoch
die Wahrheit nicht zu verbergen.

In Schwierigkeiten geraten, weil der
"Prozess" nicht zu ihrer Zufriedenheit
läuft, lassen die Haager Inquisitoren nun
nichts unversucht, Präsident
Slobodan Milosevic zu brechen und ihn
physisch zu zermürben. Ekelhaft und
unehrlich sind die Stellungnahmen, in
denen man angebliche Besorgnis über
seinen Gesundheitszustand äußert. In der
Haftanstalt sind ihm elementare
Lebensbedingungen versagt. Man überhäuft
ihn vorsätzlich mit Reihen von
sogenannten Zeugen und Tonnen von
schriftlichen Aussagen, Dokumenten und
Papieren. Schließlich hat man ihm
angemessene medizinische Behandlung
vorenthalten, um später scheinheilig
seinen verschlechterten
Versklavung auszusprechen.

Die jüngsten Enthüllungen von Zeugen, dass
sie Folter ausgesetzt wurden,
dass ihnen Geld angeboten wurde sowie
persönlicher Schutz, eine neue
Identität und ein neues Aussehen, wenn sie
nur gegen Präsident Slobodan
Milosevic "aussagen", also lügen würden,
brachten die schmutzigen Methoden
der Behörden in Serbien ans Licht, ihre
Ja-Sager-Mentalität gegenüber ihren
ausländischen Bossen.

Es ist allgemein klar geworden, dass der
"Prozess" in Den Haag nicht gegen
Präsident Slobodan Milosevic und andere
jugoslawische Patrioten geführt
wird, sondern dass er auf die gesamte
serbische Nation zielt, weil sie ihr
Heimatland gegen Terror und Aggression
verteidigt hat, und weil sie
Solidarität mit ihren Landsleuten in ihrem
Kampf für Freiheit und
Gleichberechtigung geübt hat. Der Zweck
des "Prozesses" war es, die Nation
anzuklagen, die gegen die Unterdrückung
ihrer souveränen Rechte Widerstand
leistete, und sie zu bestrafen, um anderen
Nationen und Staaten ein
warnendes Beispiel zu geben, in Zukunft
nichts Ähnliches zu tun.

Die Wahrheit, die von Präsident Slobodan
Milosevic, unterstützt von allen
Patrioten seines Landes, verteidigt wird,
kann weder versteckt noch besiegt
werden. Die "Anklage", die "Richter" und
die Schirmherren des Haager
"Tribunals" vermochten nicht, das Opfer
zum Schuldigen zu machen. Anstelle
des von der "Anklage" so begierig
erwarteten Umschwungs endete der Prozess
nach dem Ende der sogenannten
Beweisaufnahmen im Fall der sogenannten
Kosovo-Anklage gegen Präsident Slobodan
Milosevic in einem völligen Fiasko.
Es stellte sich heraus, dass es keine
Beweise für die "Beschuldigungen"
gibt, und dass der ganze "Prozess" auf
abstoßender Irreführung und falschem
Beweismaterial sowie auf Anwendung
mittelalterlicher Inquisitionsmethoden
aufbaut.

garantieren.

Die Bundesregierung ist ebenfalls
verpflichtet, die Auslieferung unserer
Bürger an das illegale "Tribunal" in Den
Haag unverzüglich zu beenden.

Es ist die Pflicht des Präsidenten der
Bundesrepublik Jugoslawien, eine
persönliche Botschaft an die
Staatsoberhäupter der Welt zu richten und
um
ihr Engagement für die Freilassung von
Präsident Slobodan Milosevic zu
bitten.

Es ist die Pflicht der Bundesversammlung
der Bundesrepublik Jugoslawien und
der Nationalversammlung der Republik
Serbien, sich an alle Parlamente der
Welt zu wenden und sie zu bitten,
öffentlich Stellung zu nehmen und ihren
Einfluss auf ihre jeweilige Regierung
geltend zu machen, sich für die
Freilassung von Präsident Slobodan
Milosevic und die Abschaffung des Haager
"Tribunals" einzusetzen.

Jene Länder, die die Rechtsprechung des
rechtmäßig zustande gekommenen
Internationalen Strafgerichtshofes
ablehnen, aber die Arbeit des illegalen
politischen ad-hoc-Tribunals unterstützen
oder keine Einwände gegen sie
erheben, müssen ihre Haltung mit dem
Prinzip der Allgemeingültigkeit als
einem elementaren Grundsatz der
Rechtsanwendung in Übereinstimmung
bringen.

Der in Den Haag geführte "Prozess" gegen
Präsident Slobodan Milosevic ist
eine historische und zivilisatorische
Schande. Wegen seiner Folgen wird er
wie ein Bumerang auf seine Schöpfer und
Unterstützer zurückfallen. Dieser
Bumerang wird noch schwerer treffen als
die Rückwirkungen der Unterstützung
der Terroristen der sogenannten UCK und
der Organisatoren internationaler
Verbrechen, deren Erlöse verwendet werden,
um verschiedene Lobbyisten in
Washington, New York und Berlin zu
finanzieren.

Die Organisation der Vereinten Nationen
muss sich der moralischen und
juristischen Hypothek entledigen, die
dieser "Prozess" und dieses "Tribunal"
darstellen; denn beide sind ein Schlag
gegen die Fundamente selbst, auf
denen die UN-Charta und das gesamte System
der internationalen Beziehung und
des Völkerrechts beruht.

Eindeutig ist der Haager "Prozess" ein
politisches Betrugsmanöver und seiner
Natur nach eine Strafaktion, um alle
Führer und Länder einzuschüchtern, die
den Terror der "Neuen Weltordnung" nicht
hinnehmen wollen, wobei er
allerdings schließlich trotz seines
enormen Budgets ein völliges Fiasko
erlitten hat.

Die Sozialistische Partei Serbiens ruft
alle Bürger von Serbien und
Jugoslawien, alle patriotischen Parteien,
Organisationen und Einzelpersonen
auf, sich in der Unterstützung dieser
Forderung zusammenzuschließen.

Wir fordern alle friedliebenden Kräfte der
Welt und die ganze internationale
Öffentlichkeit auf, mit ihren Appellen und
konkreten Aktionen dazu
beizutragen, dass unsere Forderung erfüllt
wird:

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA.

PEDOFILIA: KOSOVO; SCOPERTO TRAFFICO, A GIUDIZIO ALBANESE

i dieci paesi che aderiscono all'accordo, Italia
missione in Kosovo e Macedonia dell'Organizzazione internazionale
I minori partono dall'Albania
I corrieri rientrano
poi in patria seguendo percorsi diversi.
minorenni. La coppia era giunta in Italia direttamente dall'Albania a
bordo di un traghetto di linea. (ANSA). BLL 29/08/2002 13:45

Bomb attacks on Serb and Turk houses
Politika, September 2nd 2002

After removal of checkpoints, Albanians have
unobstructed access to northern part of Mitrovica
By B. Radomirovic

Kosovska Mitrovica, August 31, 2002 - Last night at 10
p.m. a bomb was tossed into the yard of Sakib Seljmani
in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.
Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the
fact that there was no one in the yard at the time;
however, significant material damage was done. This
incident caused great unrest in this Turk family as
well as the people living in the neighborhood. Two
hours later, exactly at midnight, another bomb was
tossed at a house inhabited by the five members of the
family of Dejan Ristic located in Mesa Selimovic
Street (near the old army maintenance facility). The
explosive device penetrated the roof of the house;
luckily, it fell into a room in which no one was
sleeping. The house is located immediately next to the
French KFOR base. Serbs in the northern part of
Kosovska Mitrovica tied both incidents to the recent
decision of KFOR to remove control checkpoints in the
Bosnjacka Mahala quarter, giving the Albanians
unobstructed access to the northern part of the city.
Last night's incidents caused unrest among the
residents of northern Kosovska Mitrovica. Their
occurrence was confirmed in the police station in the
northern part; however, due to the complexity of the
incidents, the investigation has been taken over by
the Regional Investigative Unit of the UNMIK police.

KOSOVO'S INDEPENDENCE HAS NO ALTERNATIVE - REXHEPI
PRISTINA, September 11 (Tanjug) - Kosovo Premier Bajram
Rexhepi has said in an interview for the France Press news agency
that "Belgrade and its neighbours cannot be avoided when the future
of Kosovo is in question, as per the UN 1244 Resolution," and pointed
out that the agreement of Belgrade and its neighbours "is essential
for our (Kosovo) self-determination."
"All have to take part in the possible conference" (on Kosovo),
Rexhepi said, and added that "no one should have the right of veto."
According to Rexhepi, the "maximal period of time in which
independence (of the province), which has no alternative, is to be
obtained is two to three years, depending on the global situation."

Anatomy of propaganda
How Slobodan Milosevic was framed
by Francisco J. Gil-White
http://www.psych.upenn.edu/~fjgil/

Introduction

In April 2001, a story broke making the following allegations: (1) the
Yugoslav army had massacred Albanian civilians; (2) their bodies were
driven away in a refrigerator truck which was then supposedly dumped
into the Danube, deep inside Serbia. In short notice this story became
an enormous international ?scandal,? and the allegations evolved and
multiplied until we were talking about whole convoys of trucks, all of
them supposedly full of massacred Albanian victims, and supposedly
spirited out of Kosovo and hidden in Serbia, out of the view of The
Hague tribunal investigators.

The hysteria in the Western (and some of the Serbian) media surrounding
these allegations was responsible for building support among the public
for the illegal abduction of Slobodan Milosevic and his subsequent
shipping to The Hague. Given the important role it played, it is
remarkable that there is absolutely no substance to the story.

In this piece I promise to do the following:
1) Give you a synopsis of what the story became, and an analysis of its
surface plausibility, just on its own terms.
2) Give you a blow-by-blow chronology of how the story evolved in the
media, and how it grew and grew in spite of the fact that no evidence
was ever added to the original ?evidence,? which turns out to be no
evidence at all, as I will show.
3) Demonstrate that, not only is there no substance to the accusations
against Slobodan Milosevic, but that these accusations have been part of
an organized plot to frame Milosevic for war crimes in order to send him
to The Hague in time to get a billion dollars from the United States and
also to neutralize the pro-Milosevic opposition that has been a nuisance
to the new government in Belgrade, which government the United States
helped install with considerable effort and expenditure.

I will be happy to hear from anybody who does not find my refutations
sufficiently convincing. (...)

COLLAPSE OF KOSOVO INDICTMENT

Press conference by the Yugoslav National Committee To
Defend Slobodan Milosevic "Freedom." The conference
topic "Collapse of the Kosovo Indictment" was addressed
by Bogoljub Bjelica, deputy president of the Socialist
Party of Serbia (SPS) and president of the Committee,
dr Vojislav Seselj, president of the Serbian Radical
Party (SRS), Goran Matic, vice-president of the
Yugoslav Left (JUL), Radisa Z. Kovacevic, member of the
Presidency of the Patriotic Alliance of Yugoslavia, and
dr Branko Rakic, member of the Committee.

"These days we witness the collapse of the
Kosovo indictment against our people and peace
in the Balkans. In the name of our national
being, we demand Slobodan Milosevic's immediate
release. What members of the SPS and citizens
want is a policy of national unity and its
implementation," said Bjelica.

"Each day of the trial to Slobodan Milosevic
makes his triumph more convincing. Since Serbia
and the Serbs are in the dock in The Hague, it
is Slobodan Milosevic that defends both Serbia
and the Serbs," said Seselj and added,
"Slobodan Milosevic's defense proved the Kosovo
indictment false and alleged evidence
fabricated. Indictments issued by Bosnia and
Croatia will be also grounded on false
evidence. But I am confident Slobodan Milosevic
will win out over The Hague Tribunal."

In Goran Matic's view, The Hague Tribunal deals
with forging history, rather than with justice.
"Slobodan Milosevic has faced the court and
managed to 'smash' the Kosovo indictment.
However, the court will meet with an even
bigger fiasco when it comes to indictments
issued by Bosnia and Croatia. This will ruin
the decade-long campaign against genocidal
Serbs and provide grounds for creation of the
FRY's internal policy," said Matic.

THE HAGUE -- Slobodan Milosevic crossed swords on Wednesday with a
British reporter, disputing the objectivity of the BBC as the
journalist cast doubt on Serbian assertions that NATO bombs killed
inmates of a Kosovo prison.
The British Broadcasting Corporation's former Belgrade correspondent,
Jacky Rowland, told of two visits she paid to Dubrava Prison in May
1999, where she saw dead bodies and was told they were victims of the
NATO raids launched in response to a Serb crackdown on the majority-
Albanian Serbian province of Kosovo.
"I have strong doubts that all those prisoners were killed as a
direct result of the NATO bombing," Rowland told the U.N.
International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia.
Serb authorities claimed inmates had been killed by NATO bombs, but
she reported at the time that it was unclear how the prisoners had
died.
Milosevic implied that the NATO bombing of the prison was a war
crime.
Journalists are divided over giving evidence at war crimes trials,
with some arguing it casts doubts on their independence. A host of
international news organizations have backed ex-Washington Post
reporter Jonathan Randal's earlier challenge against the Hague
tribunal compelling him to testify in another case.
"They (journalists) are not tools of the prosecution or investigative
arm of government or courts and it is important to honor that
distinction," lawyers representing Randal said in a submission to the
court this month.
Rowland stressed the BBC's objectivity and impartiality, saying she
spoke to people from all walks of life for her work and she had
conducted "balanced, impartial, fair reporting."
But Milosevic challenged the BBC's overall objectivity, saying with a
wry smile: "A Serbian proverb says 'One swallow does not make a
spring', so please do not generalize regarding this one objective
report about the reporting of the BBC in general."
Milosevic later read out the text of a BBC report that questioned
allegations by NATO that the Serb authorities were holding tens of
thousands of refugees.

AFP. 28 August 2002. Milosevic again told to rest.

THE HAGUE -- A heart specialist has recommended that Slobodan
Milosevic take frequent breaks in order to rest up during his war
crimes trial, which resumed this week after a month-long recess,
judicial sources said Wednesday.
The former Yugoslav president should be given four consecutive days
off after every two weeks of hearings, the cardiologist told
presiding judge Richard May of the UN tribunal here.
Milosevic's health became a key factor in his trial when a medical
exam in July revealed he was at risk of a heart attack due to
pressure from his trial.
Underway since February 12, the trial has taxed the 61-year-old ex-
leader's health since he has refused outside counsel and is defending
himself against some 60 charges of crimes against humanity, war
crimes and genocide for his participation in wars in Kosovo, Bosnia
and Croatia.
He is said to spend evenings and nights in his cell reading through
voluminous documents, pouring over evidence and witness statements
and preparing for the next day's session.
The first of part of his trial, which focused on the Kosovo war, ends
next month. The tribunal will begin hearing testimony on Milosevic's
responsibility in the Bosnia and Croatia wars on September 30.

THE BELGRADE FORUM: MILOSEVIC TRIAL - STATEMENT /3/

THE BELGRADE FORUM FOR THE WORLD OF EQUALS
THE MILOSEVIC TRIAL - STATEMENT /3/
Done in Belgrade on 12 September 2002

In its two previous statements The Belgrade
Forum for the World of Equals /Forum/ expressed
its concern about the conduct of the trial of
Mr. Slobodan Milosevic before the International
Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia
/ICTY/ in the Hague. The Forum also called upon
all human rights organisations to appoint their
observers at the trial in order to ensure the
right to a fair trial is fully observed.
Further to these statements, several members of
the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of
Europe made a motion before this body for the
observers to be appointed at the trial. The
result of this initiative remains to be seen in
the near future.
In the meantime, The Forum notes the following
irregularities:

- on 14 June the cross-examination of the NATO
retired general Klaus Naumann / the man who
authorised the bombardment of targets in
downtown Belgrade/ by one of the amicus curiae
Mr. Tapuskovic, was abruptly cut short by Judge
May with an explanation that "the witness had a
plane to catch";
- on June 11 nothing but a legally scandalous
situation occurred when the witness Mr. Avdiju
claimed to have survived a firing squad
followed by a four hour period in open flames
in a house in Mala Krusa. Witness then claimed
that his surname was not Avdiju, but changed
into Krasniqi, and he also admited that some of
the four signatures at the end of the witness
statement were not his. Although Judge Kwon did
try to throw some light on this issue, it is
rather regretable that the Chamber never
requested the witness to lodge his signature
with it on the spot;
- witness K12 who had refused to testify
claiming to have been exposed to "a
psychological processing" by the prosecution
was held by the Chamber to be in contempt of
court. The Forum wonders why the unfortunate
K12 was not helped by the Chamber and releaved
of the psychological pressures he was exposed
to and notes that no other witness was
penalised in this way, in spite of the fact
that many testimonies were rather incredible;
- witness Mr. Ali Djogaj, a grave-digger from
Kosovo, claimed on 3 July to have loaded a
refrigerator lorry with bodies from a mass
grave in Kosovo and categoricaly contended this
had happened in April 2000. There were no
Yugoslav Army and police in Kosovo at the time.
Judge May personally acknowledged the date.
However, the following morning the Chamber
allowed the witness to reappear before it and
to change his testimony. The relevant date was
not April 2000 anymore, but "April 1999". When
Mr. Milosevic protested, Judge May said that
the transcript had to be looked into.

The Forum recalls that in its first statement
it called upon the Chamber to take penal
measures against the witnesses whose
testimonies were obviously incredible and the
Forum then noted that great many witnesses from
Kosovo claimed not to have even heard of the
KLA. On August 30, however, Mr. Gani Boqaj,
sentenced for the criminal act of terrorism,
testified that every single man in his village
was a KLA member! And the Office of the
Prosecution, in the final stages of its Kosovo
case, made sure to bring as many KLA members to
testify as possible. One of these witnesses
even claimed "to have killed as many Serbs as
he took aim at". The Forum notes that the
credibility of these witnesses, who are openly
hostile to the Yugoslav state and Mr.
Milosevic, is non-existent.
The Forum also notes that it is not only the
witnesses from Kosovo whose testimonies are
deprived of credibility. For instance, Mr. Ian
Hendry, a police detective from Britain,
reappeared before the Chamber in order to
"persuade" it that on two, more or less,
identical photographs of the same deceased from
Racak, blood could be visible on one of the
photos and not on the another. Gen. Klaus
Naumann, who might have also authorised the
bombing of Mr. Milosevic`s residence and his
daughters TV station "Kosava", continued his
hostile campaign before the ICTY with some
outrageous claims. The Forum considers it
utterly unacceptable that the testimony of the
witness who might have comitted war crimes and
the crime of attempted murder of Mr. Milosevic
and his family can be treated as impartial
before the ICTY.
The Forum calls upon:

- the Federal Government of the FRY to take
concrete steps in order to implement the
decision of the Yugoslav Federal Constitutional
Court pertaining to an illegal deportation of
Mr. Milosevic to the Hague;
- the President of the FRY Mr. Kostunica to
personally address all heads of states and ask
for their engagement in granting Mr. Milosevic
a provisional release - defence as a free man
from the Hague;
- the Governments of the FRY and Serbia to
address all parliaments in the world and
request their support for the release of Mr.
Milosevic.

The Forum considers that the prosecution has
failed to link Mr. Milosevic with the alleged
crimes in Kosovo and the proof for this is the
obvious attempt of the Prosecutor to link the
Yugoslav security forces and Mr. Milosevic with
the estabilished NATO crimes, such as the
bombing of the "Dubrava" prison and Albanian
refugees in Bistrezin and Meia. In order to try
to exculpate NATO in this way, the prosecution
has called many false witnesses, such as Musa
Krasniqi and Gani Baqaj, both sentenced for the
criminal act of terrorism; this is obviously an
abuse of power by the prosecution and the
reason for mistrial to be declared. For the
aforementioned reasons The Forum considers that
the Kosovo case should be immediately dismissed
by the Chamber. Another reason for the
dismissal is a total lack of equality of arms
between Mr. Milosevic and the prosecution.
Finally, the Forum remains concerned not only
about the conduct of the trial, but also about
the health of Mr. Milosevic whose recent blood
pressure was 200/120 due to the trial effort.
The Forum repeats its call to all human rights
organisations and other relevant bodies to
appoint their observers in the next phase of
the trial and it calls upon the trial Chamber
to put a stop on the Prosecutor`s practice to
call sentenced, indicted or suspected criminals
as witnesses, witnesses who are employees of
the Office of the Prosecutor, as well as those
who testify from the second hand. There have
been to many witnesses of this kind and The
Forum remainds the Presiding Judge May that
hear-say testimonies are not admissible before
the courts of law in his own country. The
aforementioned witnesses cannot help the
Chamber, but only expose Mr. Milosevic to an
undue exhaustion.

controversie internazionali.

Uccisi 107 serbi, 600 i dispersi

crimini a Sisak.

Associazione " SOS Yugoslavia " - Torino

MINISTER CONVINCED THAT SITUATION IN NOVI PAZAR WILL CALM DOWN

BELGRADE, Sept 10 (Beta) - Yugoslav Minority Affairs Minister
Rasim Ljajic said on Sept. 10 that he was convinced that Sandzak would
not
become a new interethnic battleground, but did not exclude the
possibility
of sporadic incidents.
Following incidents in Novi Pazar, Ljajic told Serbian state TV
that Sept. 10 was "a critical point because of the announcements of mass
gatherings by both sides," but that it had also been agreed that there
would be no rallies and that "a republican commission will investigate
the
entire case."
He said that a special commission would investigate the
behavior
of the police and establish whether their reaction was timely during the
celebration of the Yugoslav national basketball team's victory in the
world
championship, when some incidents occurred.

Posle odbojaske utakmice Jugoslavija-Turska

SKANDALOZNO NAVIJANJE PUBLIKE

Novi Pazar - Posle odbojaske utakmice Jugoslavija-Turska izmedju
reprezentaciju, a domacim reprezentativkama upucivala psovke, reakcije
se ne stisavaju. (...)
"Neshvatljivo nam je da mladi iz ovog grada ne prihvataju Jugoslaviju
kao svoju zemlju, vec za "svoju" zemlju uzimaju Tursku i izmedju
Bosnjaka i Turaka stavljaju znak jednakosti.

OMEROVIC SOKIRAN NOVOPAZARSKIM NAVIJACIMA

Beograd - Predsenik Odbora Skupstine Srbije za medjunacionalne odnose
omladinskih reprezentacija Jugoslavije i Turske u Novom Pazaru. Povodom
nezapamceno ponasanje - morali snositi odgovornost". "Svima je jasno da
je ovim nanesena nesaglediva steta Bosnjacima koji Srbiju dozivljavaju
kao svoju istinsku i jedinu drzavu. Da li se ovakvim postupcima zeli
usporiti ulazak u Evropu zbog necijih suludih ideja o tome kako Bosnjaci
mogu zivjeti u nekoj svojoj posebnoj drzavi", upitao je Omerovic.

For Release of President Slobodan Milosevic

In view of the fact that President
Slobodan Milosevic has fully refuted at The
Hague all allegations contained in the
so-called Kosovo indictment and that even
the rules of the so-called Hague Tribunal
stipulate that the indictment has to be
rejected in such a case, the Head Committee
of the Socialist Party of Serbia is most
resolutely demanding that

President Slobodan Milosevic be immediately
released.

All members of the Socialist Party
of Serbia, most of the citizens of our
country and much of the international public
are convinced that this demand has to be
satisfied. They all share the view that it
would be in the interest and to the benefit
of the stability in the Balkans, or our part
of Europe, if President Milosevic would be
allowed to continue, upon release, his
activity in the interest of the state and
the people.

President Milosevic's health
condition, with the dangerous risks that
could be provoked by the continuation of the
process in the manner as proposed by the
so-called Prosecution, represents a
sufficient reason for his release.

It is a firm belief of the
Yugoslav public that an innocent man is in
prison and that the course of the process
conducted thus far has shown his innocence
to everybody.

The demand for setting President
Milosevic free is also the demand of the
progressive public in the world that
supported in the past, and which is
particularly strongly expressing its view
today in favor of President Milosevic and
his innocence, as well as against the
illegal character of "The Hague Tribunal".

In its reactions based upon
arguments, legal experts in Yugoslavia and
in the rest of the world point out that one
can speak of a political show trial taking
place at The Hague that is conducted by an
illegal institution with numerous violations
of legal norms and human rights.

A longstanding state president
elected through a plebiscite and a leader of
the nation who opposed colonization of his
country by the great powers, needs not and
must not be put on trial in the Tribunal set
up by these powers in retaliation for the
truth.

The Socialist Party of Serbia is
making this demand together with numerous
international entities - political parties,
Trade Unions, peace and anti-globalization
movements, national and political leaders,
distinguished public personalities -
artists, scientists, fighters for human
rights who have expressed a strong
solidarity and who continue their activity
aimed at President Slobodan Milosevic's
release. Their activities are concentrated
in the international, and several national
committees for the release of Slobodan
Milosevic. They have been organizing a great
many public gatherings, protests and
conferences from which they send the appeals
to the world public, The Hague "Tribunal",
the Organization of the United Nations, the
governments of their respective countries.

R e a s o n e d O p i n i o n

President Slobodan Milosevic has
proved himself before the illegal Hague
"Tribunal" and the whole world as a national
hero, a forerunner of the struggle for
freedom, truth and national dignity.

To all freethinking people in the world
threatened by enslavement and colonization,
President Slobodan Milosevic has become a paragon
of a fighter for the universal values of freedom
and equality.

The so-called Kosovo indictment failed
before the truth revealed in a dignified manner by
President Slobodan Milosevic. It has become clear
to everybody in the world that the "Tribunal" is an
illegal institution and an extended arm of the NATO
Alliance, fully subordinated to the objectives of
the US administration that waged an aggressive war
against Yugoslavia, and that the Tribunal is the
stage for the process of political retaliation.

More than a year has passed since
the kidnapping and extradition of President
Slobodan Milosevic to NATO jailers at The
Hague. The puppet regime in Belgrade thus
breached most flagrantly the Constitution
and the laws of the FR of Yugoslavia and the
Republic of Serbia, and international law
norms. It was also an attempt of the same
regime to suppress freedom and democracy in
our country and thus to open the way for its
break-up, occupation and sale.

More than ninety percent of the
so-called witness in The Hague come from the NATO
countries or are members or sympathizers of the
terrorist so-called Kosovo Liberation Army (UCK).
The few so-called "insiders" accused in their
testimonies, contrary to expectations of the
"prosecution", the NATO leaders and terrorists of
the aggression against the FR of Yugoslavia and
helped revelation of the true objectives and
motives of this fabricated political process.

The farce taking place at The
Hague has shown that the so-called
Prosecution and the Trial Chamber are
applying double standards without any
reluctance. NATO witnesses are allowed and
even encouraged to speak without disturbance
a large amount of lies and to determine in
advance the non-existent crimes, to
pronounce judgements and to assess personal
and human qualities without any measure and
limitation. On the other hand, the arguments
and questions raised by President Slobodan
Milosevic are interrupted forcedly,
rejected, assessed as irrelevant only
because such arguments and questions reveal
the truth and the truth hurts most.

However in spite of all such
miserable and obvious attempts the truth
could not be hidden.

Being in great troubles because
the process is not evolving in the manner
that would satisfy them, The Hague
inquisitors are doing all they can in order
to break and physically exhaust President
Slobodan Milosevic. Loathsome and immoral
are the statements in which they express
their alleged concern with regard to his
health. He has been deprived of elementary
human conditions in the prison; they are
tendentiously burdening him with a great
many so-called witnesses and with tons of
written statements, documents and papers.
Finally, they have deprived him of adequate
medical treatment to lament later
hypocritically over his deteriorated health
condition to which they have exclusively
contributed. The purpose of all this is to
limit to him the precious time and his only
possibility to tell the domestic and world
public the truth about the struggle for
freedom, against the aggression and
enslavement.

The latest revelations of the
witnesses that they had been exposed to
tortures, as well as that they had been
offered money, security, change of identity
and personal description only to testify,
i.e. to lie against President Slobodan
Milosevic brought to light the filthiest
methods used by the authorities in Serbia
and their yes-man attitude toward their
foreign bosses.

It has become generally clear
that the process in The Hague is not being
conducted against President Slobodan
Milosevic and other patriots of Yugoslavia
but that it is aimed against the whole
Serbian nation because it had defended its
homeland against the terror and aggression
and because it had shared solidarity with
its compatriots in their struggle for
freedom and equality. The purpose of the
process was to accuse the nation that
resisted suppression of its sovereign rights
and to punish it in order to set an example
to other nations and states not to do
something similar in the future.

The truth being defended by
President Slobodan Milosevic, who is
supported by all patriots of this country,
could neither be hidden nor conquered. The
prosecution, the judges and the sponsors of
The Hague Tribunal did not manage to find
the victim guilty. Instead of a reversal so
eagerly waited for by the prosecution, The
Hague process against President Slobodan
Milosevic resulted in a complete fiasco
after finalization of the so-called
presentation of evidence by the prosecution
in the case of the so-called Kosovo
indictment. It has become clear that there
is no evidence in favor of the accusations
and that the whole process was based on
loathsome deceits and fabrications, and
application of the medieval Inquisition
methods. The attempt of the "prosecution"
has fully failed to prove the accountability
of the Serbian nation for the alleged
"crimes in Kosovo" in order to pardon
terrorism and terrorists, NATO aggressors
and criminals, and to degrade the struggle
of Yugoslav citizens and peoples for their
national dignity and freedom.

The Federal Government of the FR
of Yugoslavia is bound to undertake concrete
steps for enforcement of the decisions of
the Federal Constitutional Court concerning
the abduction of President Slobodan
Milosevic, to meet its constitutional and
international obligation of protecting the
rights of its citizens abroad, and to
undertake appropriate legal and diplomatic
activities so as to ensure the release of
President Slobodan Milosevic and his return
to the country.

The Federal Government is also
bound to immediately bring to end the
surrender of our citizens to the illegal
Tribunal at The Hague.

It is the duty of the President
of the FR of Yugoslavia to send personal
messages to the heads of states of the world
and ask their engagement concerning the
release of President Slobodan Milosevic.

It is the duty of the Federal
Assembly of the FR of Yugoslavia and of the
National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia
to address all parliaments in the world and
ask them to react publicly and to exert
their influence on their respective
governments to advocate for the release of
President Slobodan Milosevic and abolishment
of The Hague "Tribunal".

The countries refusing
jurisdiction of the legally established
International Criminal Court, and supporting
or not opposing the work of the illegal
political ad hoc Tribunal will have to
harmonize their standpoint with universality
as the basic principle of application of
justice.

The process conducted at The
Hague against President Slobodan Milosevic
is a historical and civilizational shame.
According to the consequences it will have,
it will return as a boomerang to its
creators and to those supporting it. It will
be the boomerang much heavier than the one
already being returned because of the
support to the terrorists of the so-called
KLA and organizers of the international
crime whose proceeds are used to finance
different lobbyists in Washington, New York,
London and Berlin.

The Organization of the United
Nations must get rid of the moral and legal
mortgage represented by this process and the
"Tribunal" as they are a blow to the very
foundations of the UN Charter and the whole
system of international relations and
international law.

As it is clear that The Hague
process is politically fabricated, as it is
clear that it has a vindictive nature, as it
needs to frighten all leaders and countries
not accepting the terror of the "new world
order" and as it has lived to see the
complete fiasco despite the enormous budget,

The Socialist Party of Serbia is
calling upon all citizens of Serbia and
Yugoslavia, all patriotic parties,
organizations and individuals to get united
in the support to this demand.

We are inviting all freedom-loving forces of
the world and the entire international
public to contribute by their appeals and
concrete actions to satisfaction of our
demand.
