Oui, on

AMERIQUE LATINE (96-97)

Installé à Panama pour commander l’ ”US Southern Command” c’est-à-dire

Et, last but not least,
l’ambassade chinoise (3 victimes) à titre “d’avertissement” car Pékin
soutenait l’indépendance de la Yougoslavie. Et l’usage de “bombes à
fragmentation”, meurtrières à long terme pour les enfants. Et celui des
obus à uranium dit “appauvri”, polluant la région à très long terme.
bombardement délibéré d’objectifs civils (Articulo 20, Madrid, 14 juin
99).

Wesley Clark fanfaronne : “Je l’avais bien dit”.

pouvoir.” ( Magazine Fortune, cité dans
http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2003/9/21/102656.shtml)

requins.

RUSKI DRUSTVENI KOMITET ZA ODBRANU
SLOBODANA MILOSEVICA

Moskva, 18. septembra 2003.

S A O P S T E N J E

odobri bivsem predsedniku Savezne Republike Jugoslavije, politickom
odbrane. To je sramna, skandalozna odluka. To je direktno krsenje
medjunarodnog prava, koje propisuje ravnopravnost strana u sudskom
procesu.

potpuni apsurd.

Posebni cinizam ponasanja tribunala je u tome sto je Slobodanu
Milosevicu i dalje uskracena kvalifikovana medicinska pomoc, iako
stanje njegovog zdravlja izaziva najozbiljniju zabrinutost.

Sve se to desava istovremeno sa prakticno potpunom izolacijom
predsednika Milosevica od njegovih politickih saveznika u Jugoslaviji i
od clanova njegove porodice. Kao sto je poznato, progon clanova
porodice Slobodana Milosevica pod laznim izgovorima, lisio je njegovu
zenu i sina mogucnosti da ga posecuju u zatvoru.

Odlucno osudjujemo nastavak politickog obracuna sa srpskim liderom i
progon clanova njegove porodice.

U.S. committee to defend Milosevic

By John Catalinotto

As the so-called trial of the former Yugoslav president in NATO's court
in The Hague, Netherlands, nears its midpoint, Slobodan Milosevic
received some new support. On Sept. 13 some two dozen writers, human
rights and anti-war activists, academics and attorneys joined to form
the U.S. section of the Inter national Committee to Defend Slobodan
Milosevic (ICDSM).

Most of the members distinguished themselves during the time of NATO's
war on Yugoslavia by publicly opposing U.S. and NATO intervention
against the former socialist country in the Balkans. Dr. Michael
Parenti of the University of California-Berkeley has agreed to chair
the U.S. section of the ICDSM.

This group in its founding statement said that "the U.S. National
Committee [of the ICDSM] rejects the legitimacy of the trial of
Milosevic and we view this trial as an act of political warfare against
the people of Serbia and against the basic democratic rights of the
whole of humanity that cannot be allowed to succeed."

The committee demands an adjournment of the trial to allow Milosevic to
receive proper medical care and to have up to two years to prepare his
defense. Milosevic has been defending himself during the entire
prosecution case, which has now lasted over 18 months. It also demands
an end to the forced isolation of the former Yugoslav president from
his family.

The U.S. and NATO leaders originally planned to make Milosevic's case a
show trial. His capable political and legal defense, waged almost
single-handedly against the court's apparatus, has exposed NATO
aggression and the weakness of the prosecution case.

Many of the U.S. committee members believe that the current questioning
of U.S. foreign policy following the disastrous aggression in Iraq
gives a new opportunity to re-raise all the questions raised by the
earlier U.S. aggression in the Balkans.

=== 3 ===

Dear friends,

President Milosevic is in a life-threatening situation.

He suffers from malignant hypertension and his heart is damaged. He is
in permanent risk of a heart attack or a brain-stroke.

His health and ability to stand the second half of the process without
a serious risk cannot be recuperated in prison conditions.

He is deprived of health-care and of conditions to prepare his case.

The outrageous decision of the tribunal to give him only three months
to prepare his case in prison and only six weeks to submit the complete
list of his witnesses, together with the summaries of their statements
and with the list of evidence he intends to introduce with them – only
to be reviewed and eventually approved by the tribunal, definitively
proves that the tribunal wants to silence the truth by depriving
President Milosevic of minimum conditions to prepare his case and by
increasing the threat to his life with an impossible task.

President Milosevic needs two years in freedom.

Please address your governments (the tribunal is formally a part of UN
system), members of UN Security Council (the tribunal is formally a
subsidiary organ of the Security Council), UN Secretary General, Office
of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the World Health
Organization, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the
tribunal itself.

Protest against the crime and the injustices. Demand two years of
freedom for President Milosevic.

Vladimir Krsljanin, Sloboda/ICDSM

"I miei
Essi

NOTE:

Juni 1996 in
der muslimischen Zeitung "Dani" aus Sarajevo.

Eine ähnliche Aussage hat UN-Generalsekretär Kofi Annan zu Protokoll
gegeben.
So steht

So seien „ungefähr 3.000

Presidente Milosevic, ultimamente nelle aule dell'illegale tribunale
dell´Aja.

dell´ICDSM.

Statement by the Italian section of the ICDSM

The recent decision to consider the "Emperor´s Clothes" group (EC) no
longer a member of the ICDSM, shared by the major national ICDSM
sections including its coordinating committee in Belgrade, is
inevitable. We cannot but support it, since EC attacked and diffamated
members and leading figures of the ICDSM, in public and alledging to
speak in the name of President Milosevic.

President Milosevic has been informed of the matter. We believe that
every organisational function of the ICDSM, starting with the bank
account, should be based in Europe, where the most active structures of
the ICDSM are, and recognized as such by Belgrade for being those that
can assure a transparent management. This is necessary also in view of
problems which arose about the management of the funds collected by EC.

We deplore the recent activites of EC, which resulted in the disruption
and sabotage of the unity and correctness within the ICDSM. After
having provided useful and important information at the beginning, EC
lately added to the diffamation and lies on the role of ICDSM and its
leading figures, such as its Chairman Ramsey Clark, a campaign on the
Middle East conflict based on the position of Zionist extremism. Such
position contradicts totally what should be the antiracist and
anticolonialist line of the ICDSM, as embodied during his entire life
by President Milosevic, even recently in the course of the trial at the
"Tribunal" in The Hague.

This Zionist extremism expressed itself not only by means of gross
historical falsifications and a campaign of justification of the
present Israeli government, but as well through attacks on members of
the ICDSM that were evidently considered "guilty" of being coherently
committed to the resistance of the Palestinians, along with all other
peoples subject to imperialist and racist policies.

This choice by EC may be seen in connection with the omission, from
EC´s analysis and documentation, of Israel´s governments specific
responsibilities in the fragmentation of Yugoslavia (one only needs to
consider the present political and military cooperation with the
quisling and police government of DOS). This policy was actively
supported by sectors of the Jewish communities, which in the course of
the past years helped to build up the image of a "Serb nazism", so
strengthening the tragic stereotype accepted by part of the Left and
the peace movement. This also constitutes an insult to the Serbian
people´s great resistance against nazifascism, as well as to the
suffering inflicted on Serbs, Jews and all antifascists by that very
nazifascism which later inspired Tudjman, Izetbegovic and Thaci.

Having been able to neutralise the diffamatory and disruptive work
carried out by EC to the detriment of President Milosevic´s defence, it
is now necessary that the ICDSM remains vigilant in order to prevent
any link with people who are strangers to a democratic culture and
express chauvinistic positions, of whatever nature they may be. The
battle for President Milosevic´s freedom is one and the same battle for
the freedom of Serbia and the Balkans, and cannot be manipulated for
other purposes, which would contradict our basic inspiration as ICDSM
and could overturn the very objectives for which we struggle.

"TRIAL" SYNOPSIS: 12 SEPTEMBER 2003

www.slobodan-milosevic.org - September 12, 2003
Written by: Andy Wilcoxson

Robert J. Donia testified as an "expert witness" against President
Milosevic today. Dr. Donia has served as a consultant for the U.S.
Miliatry, and during the Bosnian war (which is what he was testifying
about) he worked as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch. Maybe next
week the tribunal can get somebody from Bank of America to testify
about events in Croatia. In 1981 Dr. Donia wrote a book entitled
"Islam under the Double Eagle: The Muslims of Bosnia and Hercegovina,
1878-1914."

Dr. Donia has a history of testifying at the Hague Tribunal. He has
testified there 8 times, and always against Serbs and Croats -- never
against Muslims, in spite of the fact that the book he wrote was about
Muslims. However, as Mr. May pointed out, the Tribunal has yet to
prosecute a Muslim.

At any rate has spent so much time either testifying at the Hague
Tribunal, or consulting the Hague Tribunal that he has decided to
teach a class about the Hague Tribunal at the University of Michigan
entitled "Inside the Yugoslav War Crimes Tribunal."

The Croatian media claims that Dr. Donia set-up a foundation through
with he solicited money from Islamic countries, and then had the money
deposited into Bosnian (Muslim) government bank accounts. Dr. Donia
denied the accusations. He admitted that he had set-up a foundation,
but claimed that he was the only one who gave it any money and that he
only gave the money out to universities.

Call me crazy, but I don' t believe that somebody go to the trouble of
setting-up a foundation just to have themselves be the only donor. If
he wanted to give money to universities then why didn't he just write
them a check?

Dr. Donia compiled a report for the prosecution. He took the minutes
and the transcripts of the Republika Srpska parliament sessions, and
compiled a report from that material. The formula he employed to write
the report was to write a summary, a headline for the summary, and
then cite quotations from the transcripts and the minutes of the
parliament sessions in order to confirm his summary and headline.

In his report Dr. Donia took quotes out of their proper context, and
wrote headlines designed to mislead the reader. President Milosevic
spent a large portion of the day reading out full quotations, and then
demonstrating how the full quotation refuted the thesis that Dr. Donia
was trying to construct with his summaries and headlines.

The most important part of Dr. Donia's testimony dealt with the 30th
session of the RS Assembly. Dr. Donia claimed that President Milosevic
had advocated a "greater Serbia" policy when he traveled to Pale to
try and convince the RS Assembly to accept the Vance-Owen Plan.

Dr. Donia read part of President Milosevic's 2nd speech to the
parliament when the President spoke of the Vance-Owen plan being the
way for the Serbian people to reach their "ultimate goal."

Dr. Donia said that the goal was left undefined in the speech. Based
on this Dr. Donia concluded that President Milosevic must be speaking
of "greater Serbia," when he spoke of reaching the undefined goal.
Impeccable logic indeed.

Dr. Donia attempted to claim that this speech of Milosevic's was held
in a secret closed session of the RS Assembly. However, President
Milosevic pointed-out that the session was public, and he proved it by
producing a newspaper that at the time the speech was given, printed
the full text of the allegedly secret speech.

Moreover, it is untrue when Donia claims that the "goal" Milosevic
spoke of was undefined. President Milosevic gave two speeches that
day, and in the first speech he was very explicit. He quite clearly
defined the goal of the Serbian people as being: peace, freedom, and
equality. And looking at President Milosevic's other public statements
form the time it is clear that his number one priority was to help
bring an end to the bloodshed. It is clear from his statements that
peace, freedom and equality were always defined by him as the goal of
the Serbian people.

In case you doubt what I am saying about Milosevic's position at the
time of the Vance-Owen Plan, please read the interviews at the
following two web addresses:
http://www.slobodan-milosevic.org/news/milosevic050293.htm
http://www.slobodan-milosevic.org/news/milosevic051493.htm

President Milosevic has demonstrated with both his words and his
actions a rejection of the whole "greater Serbia" idea. (See:
http://www.slobodan-milosevic.org/news/milosevic080791.htm ) Dr.
Donia's testimony is pure and utter nonsense.

President Milosevic usually has a good "poker face." He usually shows
no emotion when listening to prosecution witnesses testifying, but
when Donia started saying that by speaking of an "undefined goal" that
Milosevic must be speaking of "greater Serbia;" President Milosevic
could be seen having a good chuckle at this.

President Milosevic has 45 more minutes to complete his
cross-examination of this so-called "expert." The witness will return
at an as-yet undetermined date to complete his testimony.

"TRIAL" SYNOPSIS: SEPTEMBER 15, 2003

www.slobodan-milosevic.org - September 15, 2003
Written by: Andy Wilcoxson

A secret witness testifying under the pseudonym of "B-179" testified
against President Milosevic today. B-179 allegedly held a certain
position in the Association of Emigrant Serbs also known as "Matica"
(Matica is the Serbian word for association). The Matica is one of the
oldest and most respected Serbian charities, it is financed by the
Serbian Government and by private donations. It is well known that the
Matica delivered humanitarian aid to war ravaged areas in Bosnia and
Croatia.

B-179's alleged position in the Matica was kept secret from the
public, but President Milosevic had contacted the Matica, and asked if
the position that the witness claimed to hold even exsisted. The Matica
responded and said that the position in question had ever existed.

Another secret that was kept from the public was the nature some court
proceedings that were taken against the witness. Apparently this
witness must be some kind of criminal, maybe he is a drug dealer, or a
rapist, or possibly a robber, who knows? All that is known is that
there were some kind of proceedings.

What is known about this witness is that he joined the SPO in 1998.
The witness claimed that his motivation for joining the SPO was his
desire to overthrow Milosevic. So right off the top we can see that
here is a witness who has a political motivation for telling lies
against President Milosevic.

B-179 claimed that the Matica transported arms from Serbia to the
battle front in Bosnia and Croatia. He claimed that arms and munitions
would be taken from a military warehouse in Bubanj Potok and shipped to
various locations in both the RS and the RSK.

B-179 arrived at the tribunal with a number of documents. Of course
none of them proved any of what he was saying.

As far as weapons were concerned, B-179 had receipts issued by the
Serbian Ministry of Defense proving that the Matica was issued
approximately 15 light weapons (rifles, pistols, etc...). The document
was very explicit in saying that these weapons were issued so that the
Matica could defend itself while shipping humanitarian supplies
throughout the war zone.

The only other document that he had regarding weapons didn't prove
anything. The document dealt with an alleged shipment of some 82mm
shells. The only signature on the document was the witness's signature.
Nobody from either the government of Serbia, or the Government of
Yugoslavia signed any part of the document.

The only other documents that the witness had were normal things that
anybody delivering humanitarian supplies would have: fuel receipts,
vehicle registration papers, Red Cross documents, etc...

The witness explained that he used to have more proof, and that he
used to have some other documents, but that some people came to his
house and took those things away. He said that the VJ would also have
such documents, but that they burned the documents, which is why they
don't have any such documents now.

The witness claims to have his knowledge about the scope of the
alleged arms shipments and the alleged burning of documents on the
basis of what he heard while eavesdropping on other people's
conversations.

Not only did this guy claim that Milosevic was arming the Serbs, but
he claimed that Milosevic was arming the Croats too!

B-179 professed to know all about Milosevic. In his statement, B-179
said that Milosevic would start his day, everyday, by going to the
headquarters of the Serbian state security and planning out where to
ship weapons to. However, in his testimony he said that Jovica
Stanisic and Milan Prodinic would always talk about "informing 'dad'
(meaning Milosevic)" about their arms trafficking activities.
Therefore the natural question is, why should they inform "dad" if
"dad" was supposed to be taking part in the planning of these same
activities on a daily basis? Wouldn't he already know?

B-179 completely failed to prove that he received any weapons from the
JNA, the VJ, or the Serbian MUP (except for those 15 light weapons
specified for the defense of Matica humanitarian aid shipments). B-179
could not produce a single document to prove that he had received even
one weapon. B-179 also could not produce even a single document to
prove that he had delivered any weapons. Not only could he not produce
any documents, but he couldn't name even one recipient of any of the
alleged weapons.

The only useful thing about B-179's testimony was his admission that
the Matica gave humanitarian assistance to all of the wars' victims
regardless of their ethnicity. That the government of Serbia was
actually financing shipments of humanitarian aid to Croats and Muslims
as well as Serbs.

After B-179 withdrew, Baron Arnot Van Linden took the witness stand.
Van Linden was a reporter for the British Sky news service. The
prosecutor readout Van Linden's 92-bis summary, and then the session
ended for the day.

Van Linden is apparently going to testify about the so-called "siege
of Sarajevo." One interesting admission that was made was the
admission that members of the Army of Bosnia-Herzegovina would not
always wear uniforms. The admission was made in an effort to
demonstrate how poor the Muslims must have been since they didn't even
always wear uniforms.

For the Muslims to be conducting war operations without uniforms is a
violation of the Geneva Conventions. Simply put, by engaging in war
operations without uniforms they made it nearly impossible for the army
they were fighting against to distinguish between them and the
civilians. Therefore, they endangered precisely their own civilians,
because they made it hard for the opposing army to tell the difference
between a civilian and an enemy soldier.

It may be interesting to read the following in view of Van Linden's
testimony. It is Slobodan Milosevic's interview with Van Linden that
was taken back in 1991:

“TRIAL” SYNOPSIS SEPTEMBER 16, 2003

www.slobodan-milosevic.org - September 16, 2003
Written by: Andy Wilcoxson

Baron Arnot Van Linden, a correspondent for the British “Sky”
television network testified against President Milosevic today
regarding the so-called “siege of Sarajevo.”

The one thing that should be remembered about the shelling of Sarajevo
is the same thing that should be remembered about the war in Bosnia as
a whole. The Muslims instigated the fighting – they were the
aggressors, not the victims.

On May 27, 1992 the Muslim army (so-called ABiH) attacked JNA soldiers
attempting to withdraw from Sarajevo. The Muslims fired on unarmed
columns of JNA soldiers as they were withdrawing from the Jusuf
Dzonlic barracks and the Marshal Tito barracks in Sarajevo.

It was only after the Muslims launched their barbaric attack on the
JNA that retribution was visited upon them. It should also be
mentioned in connection with the retaliation that Radovan Karadzic and
the VRS repeatedly offered safe passage for any civilians who wished
to flee the Sarajevo war zone, but that Izetbegovic decided that he
would rather keep the population of Sarajevo as hostages than allow
them to leave the war zone.

Van Linden reluctantly confirmed that not a single shell fell on
Sarajevo until after the Muslim's barbaric attack on the barracks of
the JNA. Now that the sequence of events is clear we can speak about
the rest of Van Linden’s testimony.

The “evidence” that he bought with him to court was nothing but his
own edited news stories that he had filed with Sky News. He did not
bring any raw footage, only the edited pieces that he produced.

Van Linden testified about an interview that he conducted with General
Ratko Mladic. A tape was played of this so-called “interview.” The
so-called “interview” consisted of a couple of brief sound-bytes from
Gen. Mladic. The rest of the so-called “interview” was Van Linden
himself paraphrasing what Gen. Mladic had allegedly told him.

The question here is why did Van Linden have to paraphrase what Mladic
told him? A camera crew was filming the interview, so why didn’t Van
Linden simply play the unedited videotape of the interview? The answer
is simple, what Mladic said was not convenient for the agenda that Van
Linden was trying to advance, therefore Van Linden rephrased what
Mladic said, in order to advance his anti-Serb propaganda campaign.

Van Linden also did an interview with President Milosevic in 1991. Van
Linden didn’t have any tape of this interview either, nor did he have
a transcript of it, but he did paraphrase it for the “court.” He said
that on the basis of the interview, he concluded that Milosevic wanted
to export the war in Croatia out to Bosnia and Kosovo.

Well, even if Van Linden didn’t have it, we have a transcript of the
interview, and you can read it at:
http://www.slobodan-milosevic.org/news/milosevic080791.htm

Read the interview and judge for yourself whether or not any sane
person could conclude from it that President Milosevic wanted to
export war anywhere.

Why didn’t Van Linden play a tape of the Milosevic interview? Simple,
if he played the tape then it would speak for itself, and he wouldn’t
have had any opportunity to tell lies about the contents of it.

Van Linden claimed to have interviewed Radovan Karadzic too. Again,
even though video tapes were allegedly made, none were played. And
again we have Baron Van Linden putting words into Dr. Karadzic’s
mouth. Van Linden made Karadzic out to be some sort of genocidal
bigot. Saying that Karadzic called the Muslims by racial slurs, and
that he wanted ethnic purity, and that he even wanted to build a sort
of Berlin Wall through Sarajevo.

Van Linden claimed that the embargo that Serbia placed on the
Republika Srpska after the rejection of the Vance-Owen Plan was
regularly violated. He claimed that he saw trucks crossing the border
and violating the embargo a number of times. Again, since he was there
with a camera crew, why didn’t he make a video tape of this? And for
that matter, how come the international observers that were monitoring
the border didn’t see any of this?

Van Linden also claimed to interview Captain Dragan, and again this TV
newsman had no tape, but he did paraphrase what he says that Captain
Dragan told him. According to Van Linden Captain Dragan said that
Milosevic was controlling the Serbs in Croatia. Milosevic asserted
that Captain Dragan had never said that and Van Linden stammered that
Captain Dragan was not referring to operational control or anything
like that, but that he was saying it in a metaphorical sense or
something.

An example of Van Linden’s “stellar reporting” came in one of the
tapes that he did play. The tape showed a number of graves that were
decorated with Orthodox crosses, but Van Linden in his voice-over,
called them “Bosnian graves.” The graves were obviously Serb graves,
President Milosevic confronted Van Linden with this, and Van Linden
admitted that they were Serbs, but since they were Serbs from Bosnia
he called them “Bosnians.”

It is common knowledge that the Serbs in Bosnia never call themselves
“Bosnians.” Only the Muslims call themselves “Bosnians,” which is
nothing more than a cynical effort by them to create the illusion that
they have some sort of claim to Bosnia, over that of the Serbs and
Croats. Even Van Linden during his testimony was referring to Muslims
as “Bosnians” and Serbs as “Serbs.”

Van Linden was clearly trying to mislead his viewers into thinking
that they were looking at Muslim graves, and not Serb graves. After
all, Serb graves would confuse everything that the Baron was saying.
Van Linden says that he never saw the Muslims doing any shooting,
obviously these Serb graves would seem to conflict with that.
Therefore it was necessary for the lying Baron to conceal the fact
that these were Serb graves.

Van Linden’s tapes also showed footage of the unarmed JNA soldiers who
were massacred by the Muslims while attempting to withdraw from
Sarajevo, but of course Van Linden neglected to mention that the
Muslims killed them, or that those JNA soldiers were shot while they
were unarmed and withdrawing from the city.

Van Linden’s testimony exposed the nature of television news coverage.
In one instance a video was shown. Van Linden was talking about Bosnia
in his voice-over commentary, but the video on the tape was from
Kosovo and had nothing to do with what Van Linden was saying.

Van Linden, upon seeing that the Albanian writing on the posters on
the footage, came up with the excuse that he didn’t edit the video
that somebody else did. When he was asked about other video sequences
he explained that he was using other people’s footage, and so he
wasn’t always sure what exactly was being shown on his video tapes.

TV news is ideal for propaganda. As Van Linden’s testimony
demonstrated the video you are looking at doesn’t necessarily have
anything to do with what the reporter is saying. At the beginning of
the proceedings there were technical problems at the tribunal and the
video could not be seen clearly, and as “Judge” May complained, not
being able to see the video caused “the evidence lose all of its
impact.”

After Van Linden was concluded President Milosevic took sick, and the
proceedings were adjourned early.

President Milosevic complained of fatigue, and high blood pressure
which he says is brought on by the excessive pace of the so-called
“trial.”

Again the so-called “judges” attempted to foist some sort of legal
assistance onto President Milosevic and again he rejected it.

It is not yet known whether the so-called “trial” will be conducted
tomorrow or not.

Milosevic trial suspended again on health grounds

Agence France Presse - September 18, 2003
THE HAGUE - The UN war crimes court in The Hague has cancelled hearings
scheduled for Friday and Monday in the trial of Slobodan Milosevic due
to the former Yugoslav president's ill health, the court said on
Thursday.
The former head of state, 62, suffers from high blood pressure and is
thought to have a high risk of heart problems.
His trial for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes has
often been halted on health grounds since it began on February 12 last
year.
Milosevic is on trial for his role in the wars in Croatia, Bosnia and
Kosovo that broke up the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s.
The prosecution is due to finish presenting its case against Milosevic
by the end of the year.
Milosevic has been given three months to prepare his defence case,
which he will begin presenting to the court in the spring of next
year. The trial is expected to last at least until 2005.

Spomenka Deretic, novinar
Beograd 17. septembar 2003. godine

radio Beogradu. Gotovo pred samim stanom, na uglu Zmaj Jovine i
Gospodar Javanove ulice, u mirnom kraju, ali u centru Beograda,
ugledala sam muskarca kako tuce cigancicu.
devojcice. Mladic se okrenuo i osamario me. Nikada necu zaboraviti prvi
protesta zbog dolaska Havijera Solane u Beograd. Osamario me je clan
"pokreta otpora", organizacije koju je osmislila i u Madjarskoj obucila
Americka obavestajna sluzba kako da pomognu u rusenju vlade Slobodana
Milosevica i jugoslovenske drzave.
fasisticki znak. Mladica koji me je osamario zato sto sam demonstrirala
protiv Havijera Solane, priznajem, vrhom cipele udarila sam u prepone.
On je pobegao jaucuci. Njegov me samar nije zaboleo.
Kosova i Metohije.
okupirao Kosovo i Metohiju kolevku srpske drzavnosti i deo moje
otadzbine.
Favoritkinja americke demokratije, a mozda

Britaniju optuzujem zato sto me je protivno medjunarodnom pravu
bombardovala i zato sto je sad okupirala deo Kosova. Pod sadasnjom
vlascu u Srbiji britanski narednici uce srpske oficire kako je zlocin
braniti Srbiju. Sjedinjene Americke Drzave optuzujem da sprovode
nacisticku globalizaciju Planete. Vasington hoce da unisti slabije
zemlje, bogate resursima i da satre njihove narode. Italiju optuzujem
Parlamentu nosili target protestvujuci zbog NATO bombardovanja Srbije.
pisala "Zivela sloboda Srbije i zivela sloboda Iraka". Trazim
zlocinima svojih vlada.

ICH KLAGE AN - ODER STORY VON DREI OHRFEIGEN UND DER EUROPÄISCHEN SÜNDE

http://www.artel.co.yu/de/izbor/jugoslavija/2003-09-23_1.html

Spomenka Deretic, Journalistin
Belgrad, 17. September 2003

in Belgrad heimkehrte.
zwei Wochen Gott selbst geohrfeigt.

gegenwärtigen Staatsmacht in Serbien bringen britische Sergeanten
Washington will die schwächeren Länder,
reich an Ressourcen, vernichten und deren Völker ausrotten. Italien

New York Times September 18, 2003

OUR WAR WITH FRANCE

By THOMAS L. FRIEDMAN

It's time we Americans came to terms with something: France is not just
our annoying ally. It is not just our jealous rival. France is becoming
our enemy.

If you add up how France behaved in the run-up to the Iraq war
(making it impossible for the Security Council to put a real
ultimatum to Saddam Hussein that might have avoided a war), and if you
look at how France behaved during the war (when its foreign minister,
Dominique de Villepin, refused to answer the question of whether he
wanted Saddam or America to win in Iraq), and if you watch how France
is behaving today (demanding some kind of loopy symbolic transfer of
Iraqi sovereignty to some kind of hastily thrown together Iraqi
provisional government, with the rest of Iraq's transition to
democracy to be overseen more by a divided U.N. than by America), then
there is only one conclusion one can draw: France wants America to fail
in Iraq.

France wants America to sink in a quagmire there in the crazy hope that
a weakened U.S. will pave the way for France to assume its "rightful"
place as America's equal, if not superior, in shaping world affairs.

Yes, the Bush team's arrogance has sharpened French hostility. Had
President Bush and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld not been so
full of themselves right after America's military victory in Iraq --
and instead used that moment, when the French were feeling that maybe
they should have taken part, to magnanimously reach out to Paris to
join in reconstruction -- it might have softened French attitudes.
But even that I have doubts about.

What I have no doubts about, though, is that there is no coherent,
legitimate Iraqi authority able to assume power in the near term, and
trying to force one now would lead to a dangerous internal struggle and
delay the building of the democratic institutions Iraq so badly needs.
Iraqis know this. France knows this, which is why its original proposal
(which it now seems to be backtracking on a bit) could only be
malicious.

What is so amazing to me about the French campaign -- "Operation
America Must Fail" -- is that France seems to have given no thought as
to how this would affect France. Let me spell it out in simple English:
if America is defeated in Iraq by a coalition of Saddamists and
Islamists, radical Muslim groups -- from Baghdad to the Muslim slums of
Paris -- will all be energized, and the forces of modernism and
tolerance within these Muslim communities will be on the run. To think
that France, with its large Muslim minority, where radicals are
already gaining strength, would not see its own social fabric
affected by this is fanciful.

If France were serious, it would be using its influence within the
European Union to assemble an army of 25,000 Eurotroops, and a $5
billion reconstruction package, and then saying to the Bush team: Here,
we're sincere about helping to rebuild Iraq, but now we want a real
seat at the management table. Instead, the French have put out an
ill-conceived proposal, just to show that they can be different,
without any promise that even if America said yes Paris would make a
meaningful contribution.

But then France has never been interested in promoting democracy in the
modern Arab world, which is why its pose as the new protector of Iraqi
representative government -- after being so content with Saddam's
one-man rule -- is so patently cynical.

Clearly, not all E.U. countries are comfortable with this French
mischief, yet many are going along for the ride. It's stunning to me
that the E.U., misled by France, could let itself be written out of the
most important political development project in modern Middle East
history. The whole tone and direction of the Arab-Muslim world, which
is right on Europe's doorstep, will be affected by the outcome in Iraq.
It would be as if America said it did not care what happened in Mexico
because it was mad at Spain.

Says John Chipman, director of the London-based International Institute
for Strategic Studies: "What the Europeans are saying about Iraq is
that this is our backyard, we're not going to let you meddle in it, but
we're not going to tend it ourselves."

But what's most sad is that France is right -- America will not be as
effective or legitimate in its efforts to rebuild Iraq without French
help. Having France working with us in Iraq, rather than against us in
the world, would be so beneficial for both nations and for the Arabs'
future. Too bad this French government has other priorities.

Lasciatemelo scrivere in
saranno in ritirata.

Dice John Chipman, direttore del londinese International Institute for

senza l'aiuto francese.

THREE MONTHS – AN OUTRAGE!

PRESIDENT’S HEALTH IN DRAMATIC CONDITION!

PROTESTS IN RUSSIA AND USA.

Belgrade, September 17

This morning’s decision of the Hague tribunal to grant only three
months to President Milosevic for preparation of his case (in the
prison!) is an outrage and violence against law and justice – Vladimir
Krsljanin stated at the press conference of “Sloboda”. In the fear of
the total debacle, the tribunal at the same time has a goal to break
President Milosevic’s health and to threaten his life, he added.

The other Krsljanin’s points at the “Sloboda” press conference were the
following:

·       Yesterday, for the first time, the session of the tribunal
ended earlier, since President Milosevic was very sick. His blood
pressure jumped to 220/120mmHg, so he was unable to continue. In spite
of this, he appeared in the court room this morning. Now tribunal
expects from a person whose health is seriously damaged by the two
years of detention and enormous efforts in the unprecedented process
with the absence of adequate medical care, to stand three months of
intensive preparations and another two years of his case. This is
something that a young and healthy person could hardly stand.

·       The protests in the World against this violence and political
warfare increase and will go on. Yesterday several more important MP’s
have joined the petition of Russian Parliamentarians, among them
Gennady Raikov, head of “People’s Deputy” – a pro-presidential,
centrist faction. Two dozen important MPs who signed the petition
represent five important factions in Duma and absolute majority of MPs.
Duma petition quotes: “Without fulfilling these demands [two-years
break with the provisional release, end of the visit ban] the process
against Slobodan Milosevic will remain an open political harassment,
having nothing in common with judiciary”. At its beginning, the
petition reminds: “after they have submitted mountains of the
suspicious documents, brought hundreds false witnesses and spent
hundreds of millions of dollars from the UN budget, the prosecutors of
the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY)
haven’t succeeded to show any evidence of guilt of the Serbian leader
for the alleged crimes. The Prosecution undergoes total fiasco.” [1]

·       At the same time, the important American scholars, activists
and lawyers, chaired by Dr Michael Parenti, who have just formed the
American Committee for the Defense of Slobodan Milosevic, announce
series of continued activities. They condemn in strongest terms the
terrible human rights violations by the tribunal and see it as a tool
of “political warfare against the people of Serbia and against the
basic democratic rights of the whole of humanity that cannot be allowed
to succeed.” [2]

·       Tomorrow, president of the tribunal Theodor Meron pays an
“official visit” to Belgrade regime. “Sloboda” invites him publicly to
visit our Belgrade offices, where he would be presented the legal
arguments only. Perhaps it can help him to preserve at least a bit of
his lawyer’s integrity and to fulfill more successfully his proclaimed
duty to take care of the “legality” of the work of the tribunal, which
now violates even its own Statute, by denying the rights to defense and
health. We would also ask him when he thinks to reply to our request
(with 15 pages of legal arguments) [3] to annul the Registrar’s
decision on visit ban and to suspend the rules preventing President
Milosevic from the contacts with the press. It would be also
interesting to hear whether judge Meron sees the role of the tribunal
in the protection of the real war criminals and terrorists, so that one
of them can run for US presidential nomination and another one (his
ex-boss and supreme commander) can come to occupied Pristina to get a
“honorary doctorate” of Pristina University from his favorite Al-Qaida
proxies.

·       For all that reasons Serbs and other progressive citizens of
Europe and the World will hold a major demonstration on 8 November 2003
at The Hague. “Sloboda” will fight back legally, politically and with
all forms of engagement for freedom and true democracy.

18.09.2003

Dear Sirs!

Since the submissions we made to you last November and December the
proceedings against Mr. Slobodan Milosevic had to be repeatedly
interrupted for health reasons; since the summer recess alone this has
happened numerous times. Early this week for the first time a
proceeding already in session had to be interrupted due to an acute
attack of heart and vascular disease.

What is relevant regarding this had been communicated already by the
cardiologist Dr. P. R. M. van Dijkman, appointed by your side, when in
his report dated November 18, 2002, he confirmed “essential
hypertension with secondary organ damage”, “during trial there recurred
a steep increase in blood pressure up to around 220/130 mmHg”, “a
condition that looks like a hypertension emergency” and when he
mentioned “the possibility of coronary disease, cerebrovascular
accident, heart attack and death”.

Recent events compel us to seriously raise the issue of your duty to
exercise proper care and supervision. It’s true that for some time
there were no reports about any drugs being contraindicated or having
unacceptable side effects. On the other hand there is still no regular
cardiologic supervision taking place, which to us seems irresponsible
in view of the known health condition.

Although with an irresponsibly delay, finally after one year there was
a reduction of the number of trial sessions per week and session hours
per day. On the other hand, the volume of material produced by the
prosecution is said to have been increased this year on top of the
already existing 500,000 pages DIN A4 by another 400,000 pages, not to
mention the video and audio tapes. Such a volume would be impossible
for any person to deal with during the allotted time; in this case the
lack of time amounts to a serious stress factor directly threatening
his health.

When Mrs. Del Ponte in her interview with Neue Zürcher Zeitung dated
July 18, 2003, stated with regard to the health condition of Mr.
Milosevic: “He is in very, very good health. Many people at the age of
60 or more are suffering from high blood pressure. We won’t comfort
him. I hope that you don’t get the impression we would”, this
diametrically contradicts the medical findings and procedural proposals
repeatedly dealt with by the Third Chamber. It also contradicts the
relevant UN-Resolutions concerning the treatment of prisoners. We very
much hope that the cynicism expressed by Mrs. Del Ponte is an
exceptional phenomenon and is not in any way representative of the
attitude taken by your institution as a whole.

We appeal to you, considering Mr. Milosevic’s hypertension and
increased infarct risk, not to practice any kind of such
“non-comforting” treatment. It is technically impossible during the
allotted time to deal with the amount of material presented by the
prosecution, which causes serious but avoidable stress. Even for a
young healthy person this would be an extraordinary task. In the
present case for the preparation of the defence after the prosecution
has finished their case it is indispensable to interrupt the
proceedings for a longer period. Mr. Milosevic has demanded an
interruption and his release for a period of two years. It is a
question for the discretion of the trial chamber, to examine this
demand from the point of view of “equality of arms”, since the
prosecution has had more than two years to prepare its case, not to
mention the staff at its disposal.

At least with respect to the health condition the time granted now for
the preparation of the defence of only three months is totally
insufficient, as it will irresponsibly increase the risk and stress
factors. Mr. Milosevic should be provisionally released for an
adequate, longer period of time, so that during the preparation of his
defence he can have medical treatment and control by his long time
doctors in Belgrade.

RUSSIAN PUBLIC COMMITTEE FOR THE DEFENSE OF SLOBODAN MILOSEVIC

Moscow, 18 September 2003

S T A T E M E N T

The International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia
(ICTY) at The Hague has made a decision to provide the former President
of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, the political prisoner Slobodan
Milosevic, with only three months to prepare his defense. It is an
outrageous, scandalous decision. It is a direct violation of the
international law, which presumes the equality of sides in a court
process.

As widely known, the ICTY prosecutors have been collecting the
evidence for more than four years. In that work hundreds of the ICTY
employees took part. And now it is decided that President Milosevic has
to prepare his defense in only three months. He has to collect evidence
and to communicate with his witnesses while being in a prison cell.
That is complete absurdity.

The particular cynicism of the ICTY behavior is seen in the
fact that Slobodan Milosevic still doesn’t receive a qualified medical
aid, despite the fact that his health condition raises the most serious
concern.

All of this is taking place parallel to practically complete isolation
of President Milosevic from his political allies in Yugoslavia and from
his family. As known, the persecution of the members of Mr.
Milosevic`s family under false excuses has deprived his wife and son of
the possibility to visit him at the Hague prison.

We strongly condemn the ongoing attempt of political slaughter of the
Serbian leader and the persecution of his family members.

We demand the adjournment of the trial for two years, so that President
Milosevic can prepare his defense in an appropriate way.

We insist on his release from detention for the recuperation of his
health and for more effective preparation of defense.

Belgrade, September 20

The delegation of the Board of Sloboda/Freedom Association - Yugoslav
Committee for the Release of Slobodan Milosevic composed of Vladimir
Krsljanin, Dragoljub Kocovic and attorney Momo Raicevic has delivered
today protest letters to the Foreign Ministry of Serbia&Montenegro, to
the US Embassy and to the Hague Tribunal Office in Belgrade.

Around 200 people followed the delegation in its four kilometers walk
from the central area of Belgrade, bombed in 1999, to the exclusive
quarters of Dedinje (where the Hague Office is located), demonstrating
against the criminal bias of the Hague tribunal and against the Clinton
visit to Kosovo.

The full text of the protest letter follows:

To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Montenegro
To the Embassy of the United States of America
To the Office of ICTY
B e l g r a d e

The citizens assembled around Sloboda/Freedom Association express their
strongest

PROTEST

because of:

- The attempt of the Hague tribunal to make defense of President
Milosevic impossible, to threaten his life and to isolate him from the
family and associates;
- The prevention of the meeting of the US citizen Theodor Meron, the
President of the Hague Tribunal with the citizens of Serbia struggling
for freedom and justice;
- The visit of the US citizen William J. Clinton, the former President
of USA, responsible for the crime against peace, war crimes and crimes
against humanity.

Considering that the most responsible for all this are the Hague
tribunal and DOS regime, but in the first place the US Government,
without support of which these two illegal, discredited and hated by
the people entities couldn't exist and convinced that by the following
we express the opinion of the
vast majority of the Serbian people,

WE DEMAND:

- Freedom for President Slobodan Milosevic, so that his life would be
protected and so that he could continue, with the full power, to
struggle for truth, freedom and prosperity of the Serbian people;
- The end of the aggression and foreign interference and the most
strict respect, by the all domestic and outside factors, of the
Constitution, Law and the democratically expressed will of the Serbian
people.
