da lui utilizzata a Pristina nei mesi di permanenza.
Secondo la proprietaria dell'appartamento - una serba
fuggita dalla provincia in seguito alle pressioni dei
nazionalisti albanesi - Everts non ha corrisposto
quanto da lei richiesto e si e' a tutti gli effetti
autoridotto la pigione.

hat für die von ihm während seiner Amtszeit
benutzte Wohnung zwei Drittel der Miete
nicht bezahlt. Die Besitzerin der Wohnung,
eine von Albanern vertriebene Serbin,
erhielt zwar eine Zahlung von Everts,
allerdings in einer Höhe die dieser selbst
festgelegt hatte, und welche nur etwa einem
Drittel der realistischen Miete entsprach.

A Trojan Horse in Belgrade
Beware Imperial Bureaucrats Bearing Gifts

As 2001 draws to a close, so does a circle of
destruction in the Balkans
that began over a decade ago. From its role as an
all-too-partisan observer in the
beginnings of the Yugoslav crisis, the Empire has
gradually asserted itself as the maker and
breaker of kings and nations.
A decade after it set the rules for Yugoslavia's
bloody destruction, Europe is back at the end
of the beginning, trying to "mediate" the
survival of Yugoslavia's last remnant. Its
envoy is no other than Javier Solana, the Bomber of
Belgrade and Murderer of Macedonia. If
Macedonia's experience is anything to go by, where
Solana goes, Ambassador James Pardew cannot be
far behind. And though the United States currently
seems preoccupied with events farther East, it can hardly
miss an opportunity to crown its conquests in the
Balkans by finally subjugating Serbia.
UNNECESSARY MEDDLING
Vexing as it is that the leaders of Serbia - "reformist"
or not - even contemplate, let alone enthusiastically welcome,
the presence of NATO's erstwhile leader while
the Alliance still occupies a large chunk of Serbian
territory, the truly befuddling characteristic of recent talks
in Belgrade is that they were absolutely unnecessary.
Namely, in late October, Montenegro's secession-minded
chieftain met with his Belgrade counterparts and all agreed
that the issue of Yugoslavia's survival should
be put to a referendum (Reuters, Oct. 26). So persistent
was Milo Djukanovic's refusal to talk anything but
independence, that both Zoran Djindjic and Vojislav
Kostunica agreed (a rare enough event) that further
talks would be a waste of time. Perhaps they counted
on data indicating that Djukanovic could not win the
referendum unless he resorted to some heavy cheating.
God forbid, however, that anyone in the European Union's
sphere of influence dares achieve a mutually agreeable
settlement on any issue without the guidance of
Brussels bureaucrats. Their subjects might even
get the idea that existence without a mammoth transnational
state apparatus might be possible! On cue, the EU and
Solana got involved in a "new bid" to prevent the
"breakup" of Yugoslavia.
CURIOUSER AND CURIOUSER
It is possible that all three leaders completely forgot
about Europe's "bid" of similar nature some ten years ago,
or that they drew completely wrong conclusions
about Solana's "mediation" services in Macedonia.
Quite possibly, their vanities might have been flattered
by the European Union's attention to their internal power
squabble - though none seems to have paused to wonder as
to the motive behind this sudden curiosity. Yet none of
this explains why all three leaders promptly
forgot the agreement they had achieved and restarted
the talks that - quite predictably - stalled the same
way as before. These days, the oft-mentioned definition
of insanity - doing the same thing over and over
expecting a different result - seems to apply perfectly.
THE LOGIC OF LUNACY
Only when considering the pattern of Imperial interference
developed over the past decade does this kind of behavior
gain some inner pretense of logic. Left to their
own devices, chieftains of Balkans principalities
would likely have found some sort of modus vivendi to stave
off the original Yugoslavia's collapse in 1991 - for
they knew better than anyone the balance of power
in the region and the price of armed conflict. That
logic, however, ceased to apply the moment a powerful
outside force (whether the EU, the UN, NATO or
the US) got involved. At that point, all diplomatic,
propaganda and war effort went into enlisting that
force on one's own side, thus altering the balance of
power.
Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo and Macedonia
are living testaments that this strategy has been
effective, just as their dependent, corrupt
societies bear witness to the high price of currying
Imperial favor.
APPETITE FOR CORRUPTION
Apparently, Montenegro's Djukanovic initiated the latest
round of this "sycophant diplomacy" by declaring that he
would gladly renew the talks under Solana's
guidance. Why he did so is still a mystery,
however, since he had a better chance of seceding if
the EU - which officially opposes Montenegro's secession -
had been kept out of the deal.
Solana knew exactly which buttons to push in the case of
Serbia's eagerly pro-Imperial Prime Minister. Desperately
needing money to maintain a state apparatus,
and through it control all aspects of life in
Serbia, Djindjic was easily persuaded by the promise
of new IMF funding - and the threat that it could be
withheld. Only Kostunica was reportedly reluctant to
embrace the new talks - probably wondering about their
purpose. However, experience of the past year indicates
he will cave in after a while.
Djindjic and Djukanovic are two of a kind in many ways.
Both lack true popular support for governing, and rely
instead on the repressive state apparatus. It, in turn,
needs to be fed by money that in both cases comes
from the outside - the Empire, to be precise. Both are
being blackmailed by threats that the trough will run dry
unless they remain compliant, but both know that
turning off the spigots completely would deprive the
Empire of leverage and is thus extremely unlikely. As
a result, they both endeavor to make the best of the
bargain, while the Empire gives them just enough to
remain in power.
USE IT OR LOSE IT
The real enigma in this tragic trinity is Kostunica. He
may have been the poster-boy of the ragtag coalition that
forced Milosevic to abdicate power in October
2000, but he quickly found himself playing second
fiddle to the ruthless and much more ambitious Djindjic.
Having used Kostunica's popularity to become Serbia's
Prime Minister, Djindjic proceeded to seize the
reins of power both in the Serbian and - through allies -
the federal government.
Much has been written here about Djindjic's machinations,
his disregard for the law, the courts, the Constitution,
and even the rules of political conduct. Yet every
time Kostunica could have confronted him, he chose not
to. Now Djindjic controls all the levers of power in Serbia
and Yugoslavia, leaving Kostunica only in control of the
military, which is immobilized by the constant threat of
war crimes indictments from the Hague Inquisition
- which in turn has made no secret of preferring Djindjic
over Kostunica.
Keeping in mind Lord Acton's maxim that power corrupts,
Kostunica forgot that he was - for better or worse - already
in power, and had to use it to the best of his conscience
or lose it entirely. Kostunica's fear of possible abuse
of power immobilized him; he chose not to act when action
was called for. This allowed someone with less moral fiber
(but more determination) to usurp and abuse the power in
a very real way, thus ironically vindicating Lord
Acton's dictum.
OF A LARGE WOODEN HORSE
So far, the "negotiations" in Belgrade have exhibited a
typical pattern of Imperial meddling into affairs the
local leaders have been perfectly capable of settling
peacefully on their own. They join the long history of
such sinister interference, from the most recent "peace
talks" in Macedonia to the ill-fated "Conference on
Yugoslavia" of the early 1990s. No one has yet bothered
to wonder why the EU is so enthusiastic about supposedly
preserving Yugoslavia now, when for the past ten years
it has been enthusiastic about its destruction.
It has long been said that the Balkans needed democracy to
prosper. Yet democracy - in its pure, unadulterated form (mob
rule) not yet hidden by the elaborate façade of propriety
developed in the Empire - is largely responsible for
the nations of former Yugoslavia and elsewhere being afflicted
with leaders interested solely in amassing power and personal
gain, all too willing to curry Empire's
favor in order to triumph in avoidable conflicts.
Thus deluded, it is easy for them to ignore the prophetic
warning of a war long ago, in a place not so far away:
"Beware of Greeks bearing gifts." Though in this case
the "Greek" is actually a Spaniard acting on behalf of
the European part of the Empire, his superfluous "gift" is
nonetheless a great wooden horse, in whose belly
who knows what deadly perils lie.

(ANSA) - ZAGABRIA, 14 DIC - L'introduzione dell'insegnamento
della religione negli asili infantili sta suscitando
polemiche nel governo, nel parlamento e nell'opinione
pubblica della Croazia. L'introduzione dell'insegnamento e'
stata chiesta dalla Chiesa cattolica croata in base all'accordo
tra il governo di Zagabria e il Vaticano firmato nel 1998
in occasione della seconda visita in Croazia di Giovanni Paolo II.
La legge sara' rinviata ad una seconda lettura nel parlamento
perche' il primo esame ha portato a un nulla di fatto. Sono
contrari quasi tutti i partiti di maggioranza del governo di
centrosinistra tranne il Partito dei contadini (Hss). E'
favorevole invece la Comunita' democratica croata, Hdz, il
partito fondato dall'ex presidente Franjo Tudjman che ha firmato
nel 1998 l'accordo con il Vaticano. In base a quell'accordo la
religione viene gia' insegnata nelle scuole elementari e
superiori. Anche la gran parte dei giornali si e' espressa contro.
Il settimanale 'Globus' in un sondaggio evidenzia che il 53%
degli intervistati e' contrario. Il principale argomento usato
dal settimanale e' che si tratterebbe di una discriminazione
religiosa contro chi professa altre confessioni, come i
serbo-ortodossi e i musulmani, e anche contro i non credenti.
''Penso che uno stato moderno debba essere laico - ha dichiarato
lo scrittore Predrag Matvejevic a Globus - questo non esclude i
diritti religiosi, ma non deve escludere i diritti degli
agnostici e degli atei''. Secondo un commento pubblicato
sull'ultimo numero del giornale ufficiale della Chiesa
cattolica 'Glas koncila' si tratta di ''una campagna agressiva
e sistematica da parte dei media'' contro la Chiesa cattolica.
''E' ovvio che si tratta di una campagna orchestrata da

[Après la lecture de l'acte d'«accusation» à propos
de la Bosnie et de l'Herzégovine]
Je tiens à vous dire que ce texte minable
que nous venons d'entendre est la
dernière des absurdités. J'estime avoir
bien mérité de la paix en Bosnie, et
non de la guerre. La responsabilité de
cette guerre réside au sein des
puissances qui ont démembré la
Yougoslavie et chez leurs agents en
Yougoslavie. Elle n'est pas imputable à
la Serbie, ni non plus au peuple
serbe ou à la ligne politique serbe. Il
s'agit ici d'une tentative. [A cet

[Au cours du débat sur le regroupement
des « accusations »]
Tout ce que nous avons entendu
aujourd'hui à propos des prétendues
poursuites ne confirment qu'une chose,
c'est que leurs intentions se
trompent totalement de cible, mais, afin
qu'on ne coupe pas le micro une
fois de plus, je m'en tiendrai aux seuls
arguments qui répondent à votre
question.
La raison pour laquelle on tient tant à
«regrouper» ces fausses
accusations me semblent on ne peut plus
évidentes. Elle réside dans le 11
septembre. On compte bien détourner
l'attention des accusations dont je fais
l'objet à propos du Kosovo, du fait que
ces accusations soulèvent
inévitablement la question de la
collaboration de l'administration Clinton
avec les terroristes au Kosovo, y compris
l'organisation de Bin Laden.
Secundo, pour en revenir à ce que nous
avons entendu aujourd'hui, ces
personnes sont conscientes de ce que, si
elles insistent sur le Kosovo,
elles ne peuvent - et ceci, sans même
tenir compte du fait que ce tribunal
est illégal - éviter de faire comparaître
devant cette même cour les
principaux responsables des crimes commis
contre mon pays et mon peuple, à
commencer par Clinton, Albright et Clark
et puis les autres, pas plus qu'
elles ne peuvent éviter l'apparition ici
de maints pacifistes dont les
activités et la coopération en vue de
rechercher réfutent les accusations -
je dirais même les accusations
monstrueuses - qui ont été faites ici.
Ainsi donc, leurs raisons pour tenter
d'«unifier», de «regrouper» ces
accusations sont totalement pragmatiques
et visent à protéger ceux qui ont
commis des crimes contre mon pays et ne
visent pas, comme ils le prétendent,
à garantir un procès honnête et efficace
puisqu'elles se soucient peu de
savoir si je vais me lasser ou pas. Je
vous ai dit naguère ce que je pense
de la question.
En ce qui concerne leur principal
argument, l'accusation prétendant que
nous étions animés du but de créer une
«Grande Serbie», cet argument peut être
très facilement infirmé et je pense
qu'aucune personne raisonnable n'oserait
recourir à tel argument, qu'ils ont
avancé comme base mythique de tous les
crimes. Personne ne devrait plus essayer
en aucune façon, désormais, d'imputer,
d'imposer ou d'abuser de cet argument.
Voici des faits irréfutables : Le 28
avril 1992, la République fédérale de
Yougoslavie était constituée. Le 28 avril
1992, c'est-à-dire avant le début
du conflit, avant que n'éclate la guerre
civile, l'Assemblée
constitutionnelle explicitait, dans son
document officiel, notre position:
à savoir que la République fédérale de
Yougoslavie ne nourrit de prétentions
territoriales au sujet d'aucune des
anciennes républiques yougoslaves. C'est
une preuve qui suffit absolument à
rejeter totalement l'absurdité qu'ils
essaient d'imputer.
J'aimerais également vous rappeler qu'au
tout début, en mai 1993, avec nos
efforts optimaux, le plan Vance-Owen fut
accepté et fut ensuite signé à
Athènes, y compris par des représentants
serbes. L'acceptation de ce plan
montre clairement que nous considérions
la paix comme l'objectif absolument
prioritaire, et d'une valeur inestimable,
pour tous les peuples de
Yougoslavie, et elle réfute également
cette idée qui ne tient que du mythe.
En fin de compte, au cours de ces dix
années en Yougoslavie, la vie
elle-même a entièrement infirmé ces
accusations de discrimination nationale
ou religieuse, puisque la République
fédérale de Yougoslavie est demeurée la
seule partie de l'ancienne Yougoslavie à
préserver son caractère
multinational et dans laquelle il n'y
avait pas de discrimination sur bases
nationales ou religieuses. Ces dix années
le confirment. La même chose vaut
pour le Kosovo. Peut-être ne le
savez-vous pas, mais le gouvernement de
la province autonome du Kosovo et de
Metohia, en 1998 et 1999 - c'est-à-dire
durant la guerre, jusqu'à ce que ceux qui
avaient commis l'agression
installent leurs mercenaires au pouvoir -
était constitué de Serbes, d'Albanais,
de Musulmans, de Turks, de
Goranis, De Roms et d'Egyptiens. Les
Serbes étaient une minorité, dans ce
gouvernement. Comment la notion selon
laquelle il existait des discriminations
nationales peut-elle se concilier
avec ce fait?
Notre délégation à Rambouillet était
composée de représentants de toutes ces
nationalités également. Comment cela
peut-il coller avec cette monstrueuse
imputation de discrimination nationale?
Savez-vous qu'en 1998, après dix
années de paix totale au Kosovo - dix
années au cours desquelles personne ne
fut tué, dix années au cours desquelles
personne ne fut arrêté, lorsque des
dizaines de journaux imprimés en albalais
pouvaient s'acheter à n'importe
quel coin de rue, lorsque l'éducation
dans les écoles primaires et
secondaires se faisait en albanais -
quand, après dix années, le terrorisme
éclata, organisé par les services secrets
étrangers provenant des exilés de
la mafia albanaise un peu partout en
Europe, nous constituâmes des forces
locales de police dans les villages
albanais, où les citoyens choisissaient
leurs policiers. Ils portaient des armes.
Tous étaient des Albanais
ethniques. Ces policiers albanais, ainsi
que des postiers albanais, des
notables albanais et d'autres Albanais
encore au sein de l'appareil d'Etat,
furent tous les cibles de menaces, de
tentatives de meurtres, d'assassinats
et de massacres directs, tous ces actes
ayant été commis par des terroristes
albanais.
En 1998, les terroristes albanais ont tué
plus d'Albanais que de Serbes. Il
convient de faire remarquer avant toute
chose que dans toutes nos structures
d'Etat, de même qu'au sein de notre Parti
socialiste, les proportions du
nombre de membres correspondaient
exactement aux taux de composition
ethnique de nos citoyens - il y avait des
Serbes, des Albanais, des Turcs,
des Hongrois, des Ruthéniens, des
Roumains, des Bulgares et tous les autres
aussi. Lequel de ces groupes aurait-il pu
être à même de présenter un
programme de discrimination nationale,
religieuse ou raciale, tel que celui
qu'on nous reproche ici?
Ces deux «accusations», concernant la
Croatie et la Bosnie, ont été
lancées expressément dans un seul but:
noyer l'«accusation» concernant le
Kosovo du fait que le simple fait de
parler du Kosovo signifierait déballer
ouvertement toute la question du
terrorisme - ceci, en dehors du fait
qu'il est clair qu'en Croatie et en Bosnie,
nous avons oeuvré en faveur de la
paix, et non de la guerre. Nous avons
assisté nos ressortissants afin de les
aider à survivre plutôt qu'à devenir,
comme ils le furent durant la Seconde
Guerre mondiale, les victimes d'un
génocide. Maintes fois, nous l'avons
déclaré publiquement, et moi même je l'ai
dit également, que nous voulions
la liberté de notre peuple dans les
territoires où ils vivaient depuis des
siècles. Mais, dans un même temps, ceci
ne devait pas se faire au détriment
de quelque autre peuple que ce fût.
L'exemple de la République fédérale de
Yougoslavie et de ses excellentes
relations inter-ethniques durant toute la
période des conflits, prouve ceci
de façon éclatante. Au cours du conflit
en Bosnie, aucun musulman ne fut
chassé de Serbie. Au cours du conflit en
Croatie, aucun Croate ne fut chassé
de Serbie. Mieux encore, au cours du
conflit de Bosnie - consultez donc les
rapports de l'UNHCR - plus de 70.000
réfugiés musulmans ont trouvé refuge en
Serbie. Quelle nation, quelles personnes
par dizaines de milliers, iraient
chercher refuge parmi ceux qui les ont
agressées?
Savez-vous qu'il y a plus de musulmans en
Serbie qu'en Bosnie et en
Herzégovine? Les musulmans en Bosnie et
en Herzégovine ont été poussés
dans ce désastre, de sorte que ces forces
de l'extérieur, se présentant
comme partisanes de musulmans, ont pu
masquer leur responsabilité dans la
mort de beaucoup plus de personnes - il
est ici question de millions de
musulmans - en vertu de leurs intérêts
qui sont de réduire le monde et d'instaurer
un nouveau colonialisme.
En particulier, je ne puis comprendre que
quelqu'un ose parler implicitement
du Kosovo, comme s'il s'agissait de
quelque chose qui se situe en dehors de
la Serbie. Le Kosovo, c'est la Serbie et
le Kosovo demeurera serbe, mais la
terrible situation que connaissaent le
Kosovo et la Métohie se poursuivra
tant que ces deux régions devront subir
une occupation illégale. Illégale
parce qu'elle a été rendue possible suite
aux violations de la résolution
1244 de l'ONU et du Conseil de sécurité.
Cette résolution envisage la
présence de forces de sécurité des
Nations unies. Cependant, les forces
occupant le Kosovo ont violé leur
autorisation émanant de l'ONU, y compris
en permettant que se poursuivent les
actes de barbarie perpétrés par les
terroristes albanais.
Des milliers de Serbes et autres
non-résidents albanais du Kosovo ont été
tués et enlevés, des dizaines de milliers
de domiciles serbes ont été
incendiés, plus d'une centaine d'églises
ont été incendiées ou détruites,
tout cela sous l'égide des forces
internationales qui sont venues là afin
de garantir la sécurité de tous.
Et, aujourd'hui, après ces élections
entièrement bidon, ces jolis
parlementaires serbes viennent en avion
de Belgrade pour faire leur boulot
de députés et se rendre sous escorte
militaire à l'intérieur de ce prétendu
parlement. Cette situation durera aussi
longtemps que durera l'occupation.
Une situation du même tonneau, sous
l'occupation turque, a duré 500 ans.
Celle-ci ne durera pas si longtemps et,
dès l'instant où elle se terminera,
le Kosovo repassera totalement sous
contrôle serbe et, ici, nous ne parlons
pas que du Kosovo, mais aussi de la
Serbie, puisque la Serbie, elle non
plus, ne tardera pas à être de nouveau
dirigée par des patriotes. Ce seront
également des patriotes qui dirigeront
dans d'autres pays, au lieu de ces
plans en vue d'un nouveau colonialisme et
de la mise en place d'une
collection de gouvernements fantoches.
Je pense que tout ce que nous avons
entendu aujourd'hui, et qui est en
totale contradiction avec la vérité, a
montré à quel point ces
«acusations» étaient fallacieuses. Je
ne puis les concevoir que comme une
déclaration de colère et une vengeance
pour le fiasco subi par l'OTAN dans
sa tentative d'occuper militairement la
Yougoslavie. Je puis vous dire que
je suis fier d'avoir commandé les forces
armées de Yougoslavie qui ont
arrêté l'OTAN, puisque ceci a montré
qu'un pays, même petit, animé d'une
forte volonté de défendre l'idée de
liberté et d'égalité des nations et des
peuples, peut réussir. Je suis ici en
guise de punition pour nous être
dressés contre le danger de la pire
tyrannie qui ait jamais menacé l'humanité.
Ce qu'en substance on peut tirer de ces
accusations n'est rien de plus que
la boue et la lie d'une guerre médiatique
de dix ans tendant à diaboliser à
la fois la Serbie et le peuple serbe, de
même que leur direction, et
moi-même, voire ma famille. Du fait que
la guerre médiatique a précédé la
guerre de fait et que, conformément à son
objectif, elle a convaincu l'opinion
publique de ce que nous étions
des salauds, sans même tenir compte
du fait que nous n'avons jamais fourni le
moindre élément sur lequel appuyer
de telles accusations.
Vous avez lu ici comment, le 6 avril
1992, l'Union européenne a reconnu la
Bosnie et l'Herzégovine. Ceci s'est fait
sous l'influence du ministre des
Affaires étrangères allemand de l'époque,
Hans Dietrich Genscher, parce que,
le 6 avril 1941 fut le jour où Hitler
lança sonattaque contre la Yougoslavie
et bombarda Belgrade. Il y avait la
volonté, ce faisant, de faire comprendre
que l'issue de la Seconde Guerre mondiale
avait changé. Je n'accuserais
jamais le peuple allemand d'avoir éprouvé
ce genre de désir, mais certains
hommes politiques y ont tenu à tout prix,
et ce sont ceux que nous avons
combattus ensemble. De cette façon, ces
hommes politiques ont engrangé une
revanche aux proportions plus grandes
encore, car ils ont réussi à nous tuer
en utilisant les bras de nos Alliés, les
Américains, les Anglais et les
Français, aux côtés de qui nous avions
combattu au cours de deux guerres
mondiales, et contre le même mal, encore.

Je vous ai déjà parlé de ma relation
vis-à-vis de ce tribunal. Qu'importe
que la juge Robinson prétende que mes
relations à cette cour n'a aucune
conséquence pour vous. Par conséquent, ce
que vous allez faire, c'est votre
travail, et je ne puis que vous dire que
chaque argument utilisé ici en vue
de «rassembler» les accusations est non
fondé, ne tient pas debout, n'est
pas correct et ne peut se justifier
d'aucune façon. Ainsi donc, les
arguments sont fallacieux, tout comme
l'est l'accusation, et vous ferez ce
qu'il vous plaira, c'est votre problème.
Nous avons entendu beaucoup d'arguments
contre l'idée soulevée par le
procureur. Tout ce qu'il ajoute, et cela
va devenir de plus en plus évident
au fur et à mesure qu'il avancera, montre
que toute cette affaire tient sur
des pieds d'argile et provient de la lie
de la guerre médiatique, et non des
faits réels, et surtout pas de faits qui
pourraient avoir quelque poids
légal. Le vocabulaire et la structure de
tous leurs arguments est tout à
fait du même tonneau que tout ce que nous
avons vu ou entendu dans les trats
politiques ou dans les médias, ce qui ne
prouve qu'une chose, c'est que tout
cela est sorti du même moule, et de nulle
part ailleurs.
Si j'étais de vous, personnellement, et
quel que soit votre statut, auquel
je fais objection, un fait que vous
n'ignorez d'ailleurs pas, je rejetterais
de telles idées. Ils veulent mettre le
Kosovo à part uniquement par qu'il
ouvre la question de la collaboration
avec les terroristes, question qui ne
correspond pas à l'actuelle politique à
suivre. En ce moment, ils falsifient
des faits historiques au nom de leus
ligne politique actuelle et c'est
quelque chose que même ce tribunal
illégal ne devrait pas permettre.

J'ai été informé, dans l'intervalle, que
sans que j'en sois avisé, vous avez
désigné quelques conseillers juridique
que je n'ai pas requis. Vous avez
interprété mon accord pour que je reçoive
des visites de certaines personnes
comme une requête en vue de désigner des
conseillers juridiques. J'ai
répondu sur le Registre en déclarant que
je n'envisageais pas que quiconque
me rend visite et a un diplôme de droit
doive d'abord être désigné par
moi-même comme conseiller juridique. Et
je considère qu'il serait
inadmissible de souffrir de restrictions
dans les visites des personnes qui
souhaitent me voir, selon les règles que
vous avez établies, puisque d'autres
personnes en prison aussi ont, de
la côté, la possibilité de recevoir
de telles visites. Secundo.

La seule chose que j'ai dite, c'est que
je souhaite que les personnes qui
veulent me rendre visite aient la
possibilité de le faire. Un point, c'est
tout.
Secundo, j'ai appris que vous aviez
installé une caméra à infrarouges dans
ma cellule. Les autorités carcérales
m'ont informé de ce que si elles ont
éteint la lumière habituelle dans ma
cellule, c'est parce qu'elles ont
enlevé leur caméra, mais je n'ai pas été
informé de ce que celle à laquelle
votre représentant a fait allusion en
public, a elle aussi été enlevée. Je
demande qu'elle le soit également.

Den Haag, 11.12.2001 - Übersetzung des Stenograms aus serbisch
S.M.: Nach dem die „Anklage“ Bosnien betreffend vorgelesen
wurde Dieser traurige Text, den wir hier gerade gehört
haben, ist der Höhepunkt der Absurdität. Mir gehört der
Verdienst für den Frieden und nicht für den Krieg. Die
Verantwortung für den Krieg in Bosnien tragen weder
Serbien noch die Serben oder die serbische Politik,
sondern die Mächte und deren Gestalten, die
Jugoslawien zerschlugen. Das hier ist ein Versuch...
(Mikro wurde abgeschaltet).
Während der .....
Alles, was wir heute in der sogenannten „Anklage“ gehört
haben, bezeugt doch nur, daß die gesamte vorgestellte Idee
fehl geschlagen ist. Damit mir das Wort nicht weggenommen
und das Mikrophon abgeschaltet wird, werde ich mich
an Argumente, die Ihren Fragen entsprechen halten.
Für mich ist es klar durchschaubar, wieso diese falsche
Anklage die Vereinigung der Anklagen (Kosovo und Bosnien)
bestrebt. Es ist die Folge des 11. Septembers. Sie
(Ankläger) haben den ausgeprägten Wunsch, die Kosovo-Anklage
in die zweite Reihe zu stellen, da diese Anklage die
unvermeidliche Frage der Zusammenarbeit der Klinton -
Administration mit den Terroristen im Kosovo
einschließlich der Bin Laden - Organisation, zur Diskussion
stellt.
Als zweites , was wir hier heute noch hören konnten. Sie
(die Ankläger) sind sich bewußt, daß trotz der Illegalität
des Gerichts, hier die Hauptakteure des
ausgeübten Verbrechens gegenüber meinem Land und meinem
Volk, wie Klinton, Olbrajt, Klark und andere erscheinen
müßten, aber auch die Friedensvermitler deren Aktivitäten
und Zusammenarbeit zur Schaffung eines Friedens vollständig
diese, ich würde sagen monströse Anklagen dementieren
würden, die hier ausgesprochen wurden.
Also die Gründe sind voll pragmatisch und stehen zum
Schutz der Verbrecher, die über mein Land hergefallen
sind, und nicht für irgendwelche Ökonomisierung der Zeit,
weil sie sich bestimmt nicht um meine Ermüdigung oder
nicht Ermüdigung sorgen, und ich habe euch schon früher
gesagt was ich darüber denke.
Was das „Kron-Argument“ der Anklage betrifft, nämlich die
Idee über die Schaffung von Großserbien, das sie (Ankläger)
als Mythos und Fundament für alle Verbrechen genommen haben,
ist wirklich leicht zu dementieren, und ich denke,
daß keiner mit einem gesunden Verstand mehr vesuchen
dürfte, es zu imputieren, aufzudrängen oder auf irgend
eine Weise zu mißbrauchen. Dafür sprechen unerschütterliche
Tatsachen. Die Bundes Republik Jugoslawien wurde am 28.
April 1992 formiert. 28. April 1992, also bevor die
Auseinandersetzungen und bevor der Bürgerkrieg angefangen
haben. Das verfaßungsmäßige Parlament hat mit seinem
offiziellen Dokument genau unsere Position deklariert,
die aussagt, daß die BRJugoslawien keine territoriale
Pretension gegenüber einer der ehemaligen jugoslawischen
Republiken hat. Es ist ein absolut ausreichender Beweis
um diesen Versuch, Sinnlosigkeiten zu imputieren, abzuwenden.
Ich erinnere euch auch daran, daß am Anfang des Mai 1993 mit
unserer maximalen Anstrengung in Athen der Vens-Oven Plan
angennommen wurde und die serbischen Vertreter nur noch
an den Frieden als höchtes Ziel und größten Wert für alle
jugoslawische Völker denkend, ihn auch unterzeichnet haben.
Diese Unterzeichnung dementiert genauso die unterstellte Idee.
Letztendlich, das Leben selbst in diesen 10 Jahren im
ehemahligen Jugoslawien dementiert am besten die Idee über die
unterstellte nationale oder religiöse Diskriminierung, weil
die Bundes Republik Jugoslawien als einziger Staat geblieben
ist, der seinen multinationalen Karakter aufrechterhalten hat
und in dem keineswegs Diskriminierung auf nationaler oder
religiöser Basis stattgefunden hat. Zehn Jahre bestätigen es.
Das gleiche gilt für Kosovo. Vielleicht wißt ihr es nicht, aber
auch 1998 wie auch während des Krieges 1999, blieb die Regierung
der Autonomen Provinz Kosovo und Metohien aus Serben, Albaner,
Muslems, Türken, Goranen, Roma und Egipter bestehen, und
zwar so lange bis die Agressoren ihre Handlanger in Belgrad
nicht installiert haben. Die Serben waren in dieser Regierung
die Minderheit. Wie kann man dann irgend eine Idee über
nationale Diskriminierung mit diesen Tatsachen in Einklang
bringen!?
Genauso waren alle nationale Minderheiten in unserer
(jugoslawischen) Delegation im Rambouillet vertreten. Wie
kann sich auch diese Tatsache mit der monströsen
Imputation der nationalen Diskriminierung abfinden !?
Wißt ihr überhaupt, daß während 1998; nach zehnjährigem
vollständigem Frieden im Kosovo, während dem niemand
verhaftet wurde, in dem dutzende albanisch-sprachige
Zeitungen veröffentlicht wurden, und die man an jeder Ecke
kaufen konnte, in denen in allen Grund- und Mittelschulen
albanisch unterrichtet wurde; nach zehn Jahren, in der
Zeit, als der von ausländischen Geheimdiensten aus Resten
der albanische Mafia in Europa organisierte Terrorismus
im Kosovo Fuß faßte, formierten wir in albanischen Dörfern
die lokale Polizei, in der die Bürger selbst die
bewaffneten Polizisten aufstellten, die alle Albaner waren.
Diese Albaner, genau so wie die albanischen Briefträger,
albanischen Förster, und alle anderen in den staatlichen
Diensten beschäftigten Albaner, waren die Zielscheiben
der Attentate, Morde und Massaker von albanischen
Terroristen. In diesem Jahr 1998, wurden mehr Albaner als
Serben von den Terroristen ermordet. Es ist auch illustrativ,
daß die Struktur auf allen unseren Staatsebenen, wie auch
in unserer Sozialistischen Partei Serbiens, der Struktur
entsprach, die bei den Bürgern war – überall waren Serben,
Albaner, Türken, Ungarn, Russinen,Rumänen, Bulgaren und
die alle andere. Wer von diesen könnte in das hier
zu imputieren versuchte Programm der nationalen oder
religiösen Diskriminierung reinfallen!?
Diese zwei Anklagen für Bosnien und Kroatien, wurden hier
per Express lanciert, gerade aus dem Grund um die Anklage
für Kosovo, die auf den Terrorismus hinweist zu unterdrücken,
und das obwohl es klar ist, daß wir uns in Bosnien und
Kroatien mit dem Frieden und nicht mit dem Krieg
beschäftigten.
Wir haben nur unserem Volk zu bestehen geholfen, damit
es nicht wieder, wie im zweiten Weltkrieg das
Opfer eines Genocids wird. Wir haben oft auch
öffentlich gesagt, und ich habe darüber gesprochen:
wir wollen frei und gleichberechtigt sein in den Gebieten,
in denen wir seit hunderten von Jahren leben, und das
nicht auf Kosten anderer Völker. Das Beispiel der Bundes
Republik Jugoslawien und die vorzüglichen Beziehungen
zwischen den in ihr lebenden Völker während der gesamten Zeit
der Auseinandersetzungen bezeugen es am besten. Während des
Zusammenstoßes in Bosnien wurde kein einziger Musleme
aus Serbien vertrieben, während des Krieges in Kroatien wurde
kein einziger Kroate aus Serbien vertrieben. Im Gegenteil,
sogar während des Krieges in Bosnien – ihr braucht nur in die
Unterlagen des internationalen Komissariat für
Flüchtlige der UN einen Blick zu werfen- haben über
70tausend Musleme als Flüchtlinge in Serbien einen
Unterschlupf gefunden. Welches Volk und welche
zehntausende würden zu denen eilen, die auf sie eine
Aggression ausüben !? Wißt ihr überhaupt, daß in Serbien
mehr Muslemen leben als in Bosnien und Herzegowina !?
Die Musleme in Bosnien und Herzegowina wurden ins Unglück
gestürzt, in den Krieg gestürzt, damit ihnen später
Unterstützung gegeben werden kann, und damit später ein Alibi
für die Ermordung von Millionen Muslemen haben zu können,
alles im Einklang mit den Interessen derjenigen, die
all das in der Funktion der neuen Welteroberung und
des neuen Kolonialismus ausgebrütet haben.
Besonderes kann ich nicht verstehen, daß jemand hier
implizit über Kosovo spricht, als über etwas was nicht
Bestandteil Serbiens ist. Kosovo ist Serbien, Kosovo
wird Serbien auch weiter bleiben, und die jetztige
Situation im Kosovo wird ganz genau so lange andauern
so lange auch diese illegale Okkupation andauert.
Ich sage illegal, weil es zur Okkupation durch den
Mißbrauch der UNO und die verabschiedete Resolution 1244
des UNO-Sicherheitsrates, die die Anwesendheit der
Sicherheitskräften der UNO vorsieht, gekommen war.
Diese Kräfte überschritten ihre Befugnisse der UNO,
ließen weiterhin das Marodieren der Terroristen zu,
tausende von Serben und der nicht albanischen Bevölkerung
sind ermordet und entführt, zehntausende serbische Häuser
sind verbrannt, mehr als hundert serbische Kirchen sind
zerstört und niedergebrannt, und das alles unter
der Schirmschaft der internationalen Kräfte, die dorthin
kamen, um die Sicherheit für alle zu garantieren.
Auch Heute, nach diesen karrikierten Wahlen, werden die
vermeintlichen serbischen Abgeordneten aus Belgrad
angeflogen und unter Millitärschutz in das sogenannte
„Parlament“ geführt, um ihre Funktion auszuüben.
Dieser Zustand wird so lange andauern, wie die
Okkupation andauert.
Ein solcher Zustand dauerte unter türkischen Okkupation
volle 500 Jahre. Dieser wird nicht so lange dauern können,
aber in dem Moment, in dem er beendet wird,
wird Kosovo wieder unter serbischer Kontrolle sein,
und es geht nicht nur um Kosovo sondern auch um Serbien,
weil auch Serbien wieder und bald Patrioten
regieren werden. Patrioten werden auch andere Länder
regieren, anstatt dieses Neokollonialismus und
seiner Marionettenregierungen.
Ich denke, daß alles was wir heute hier zu hören bekommen
haben, und was im Widerspruch zur Wahrheit steht,
bezeugt, in welchem Maß die Anklagen verfehlt sind.
Ich kann sie nicht anders als Ausdruck der Wut über
das erlittene Fiasko beim Versuch Jugoslawien millitärisch
zu okkupieren, verstehen.
Und ich kann euch noch Ein‘s sagen, ich bin stolz darauf,
daß ich die militärischen Kräfte Jugoslawiens, die die NATO
aufgehalten haben, kommandiert habe, weil es zeigte,
daß auch das kleinste Land mit eisernem Willen die
Freiheit, die Idee der Freiheit und die Gleichberechtigung
der Völker zu verteidigen, sie auch verteigen kann. Es
ist die Strafe, weil wir uns der größten Tyrannei, die
die Welt bedroht, widersetzt haben.
Auch etwas, was man noch mühselig aus den Anklagen
rauskratzen könnte, ist nichts anderes, als Schlamm und
Satz aus dem zehnjährigen Medienkrieg, der dem Ziele
der Satanisierung Serbiens, der Serben und der serbische
Führung, meiner Persönlichkeit und sogar meiner Familie
diente. Der Medienkrieg schritt vor dem militärischen,
zwecks Übezeugung der westlichen Öffentlichkeit von „den
Schlächtern“, obwohl wir dafür nie einen Grund geboten
haben.
Ihr habt hier Heute vorgelesen, wie am 06.April 1992 die
Europäische Union Bosnien und die Herzegowina anerkannt hat.
Es geschah unter dem Einfluß von Hans Dietrich Genscher,
weil der 06.April der Tag ist, an dem Hitler Belgrad
bombardierte. Es war nur der Wunsch eine Veränderung
des Resultates aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg zu simbolisieren.
Ich würde so etwas nie dem deutschen Volk zuschreiben,
aber ich muß sagen, daß einige Politiker das Übel, gegen
das wir gekämpft haben, beibehalten haben,
und nicht nur das, sondern zu der Rache es
noch geschafft haben, uns mit den Händen unserer
Verbündeten Amerikaner, Engländer und Franzosen zu morden,
mit denen wir in zwei Weltkriegen gegen das
gleiche Übel gekämpft haben.

Ich habe euch schon gesagt, wie meine Meinung zur
diesem Gericht ist, obwohl nach Richter Robinson sich
meine Meinung auf euch nicht auswirkt. Also,
was ihr macht, ist eure Sache, ich sage nur,
daß kein einziges hier erbrachtes Argument für die
Zusammenbindung der Anklagen, der Wahrheit gerecht
ist, es hat keinen Bestand, ist nicht richtig und
kann sich keineswegs rechtfertigen. Also, eure Argumente
sind eine Lüge, wie die Anklage auch eine Lüge ist, und
ihr werdet es machen so wie ihr es wollt, es ist euere
Sache. Ich denke, daß gerade die Argumente gegeben
worden sind, die der ausgedachten Anklage selbst
widersprechen, weil alles was die Ankläger bringen
und wie weit sie noch gehen werden, wird zeigen, wie
alles auf gläsernen Füßen steht, wie auskonstruktuiert
es ist, und aus dem Satz und Schlamm des Medienkrieges
gesammelt ist und nicht auf Grund der Tatsachen, schon
gar nicht solcher, die ein relevantes Gewicht haben
könnten. Und daß das Vokabular und die Struktur dessen,
was sie hier vortragen identisch ist mit dem, was
wir 10 Jahre in politischen Pamphleten gehört,
in verschiedenen Druckmedien gelesen haben,
bestätigt nur deren Herkunft, nämlich aus der
gleichen Kochniesche.
Ich würde an eurer Stelle, unabhängig davon, daß ich
euern Status nicht anerkenne, was euch schon ohnehin
bekannt ist, diese Ideen hier vollständig ablehnen.
Sie wollen nur Kosovo in den Hintergrund drängen, weil
es die Frage der Zusammenarbeit mit den Terroristen eröffnet,
was laufender Politik nicht angenehm ist. In diesem Moment
falsifizieren sie die geschichtlichen Tatsachen
zwecks Tagespolitik, und damit dürfte sich selbst
dieses illegale Gericht nicht mal beschäftigen.

Berlinski ,,Junge velt" o sudjenju Slobodanu Milosevicu
SAD cine najvece ratne zlocine
Vasington rusi vlade i unistava drzave koje nisu po volji Amerike
BERLIN - Danasnji berlinski dnevni list ,,Junge Velt"
objavljuje komentar povodom sudjenja Slobodanu
Milosevicu i to iz pera Klausa Hartmana:
Kamere najvecih svetskih TV-kompanija - Si-En-En,
Bi-Bi-Si, Euronjuz - stalno su ponavljale udarne vesti, a
to su bile tri slike: prva iz Avganistana, iz
Kandahara, gde se vide hiljade leseva, kao zrtve
americkog bombardovanja; druga: lesevi palestinske dece,
koje su ubili izraelske rakete; treca slika: Milosevic
na sudu u Hagu. Ove tri slike imaju mnogo vise
zajednickog nego sto se na prvi pogled cini zbog njihove
geografske udaljenosti. Zajednicko im je sledece: SAD i
saveznicima krseci Povelju UN, dozvoljeno je da vrse
teroristicke akcije protiv civilnog stanovnistva i da pri
tome cine najteze oblike ratnih zlocina i da pri tome ne
moraju da se boje da ce biti kaznjeni. Takodje,
Vasingtonu i njegovim saveznicima je dopusteno, da
kreiraju specijalne tribunale - a to takodje predstavlja
krsenje Povelje UN,-i da ruse vlade i unistavaju drzave,
koje nisu po njihovoj volji.
Proces protiv Slobodana Milosevica u Hagu jeste sudska
farsa, koja takodje treba da nam izbrise iz svesti
sledecu cinjenicu: islamska teroristicka organizacija
Osame bin Ladena stvorena je od strane americke spijunske
organizacije CIA. Bin Ladenovi ljudi su se takodje borili
u Bosni, uzivajuci punu podrsku Amerike, kako bi stvorili
islamsku drzavu u Evropi. A danas Vasington vodi rat
protiv svojih jucerasnjih saveznika, pravdajuci to
,,borbom protiv terorizma», kako bi instalirao svoju
stalnu prisutnost u centralnoj Aziji, gde se nalaze
najbogatije rezerve nafte i gasa".

Milosevic bio u antiteroristickoj koaliciji pre Amerike
Klinton bio u savezu sa teroristima * Haski tribunal degradiran na
obicno orudje americkih imperijalnih interesa
BERLIN- Berlinski dnevni list ,,JB" objavio je ovih dana
takodje znacajan komentar Klausa Hartmana i Klausa fon
Rausendorfa o fenomenu Haskog tribunala:
,,Spektakularni teroristicki napadi na SAD od 11.
septembra 2001, a onda i vazdusni udari Amerike po
Avganistanu od 7. oktobra, prouzrokovali su, da UN-sud u
Holandiji pomalo padne u senu svetske stampe.
Sve ovo zahteva jednu temeljniju analizu fenomena terorizma. Da
podsetimo, da je NATO pre dve godine bombardovao Srbiju,
a pri tome pomagao je teroriste. Ti isti albanski
teroristi sada destabilizuju Makedoniju. Posle prestanka
americkog bombardovanja Avganistana ponovo se postavlja
pitanje Medjunarodne sudske instance. Velika nada
pojavila se godine 1998. u Rimu, kada se 120 drzava
obavezalo, da namerava stvoriti jedno internacionalno
pravno telo. Rimski skup je zapravo indirektno kazao, da
Hag nije put k tom cilju, vec pre prepreka, da se to
postigne. Vasington je zainteresovan samo za
,,parcijalne, privremene Tribunale", koji treba da sluze
americkim vojnim ciljevima, zato SAD i nisu potpisale
Rimsku povelju. I ne samo to. Amerika je izvrsila
pritisak na druge drzavnje, da ne ratifikuju Rimski
dogovor. Na predlog americkog senatora Helmsa, americka
vlada zabranila je bilo kakvu saradnju sa Medjunarodnim
sudom. Istovremeno, Vasington zahteva saradnju Beograda
sa Tribunalom! Na taj nacin Internacionalni tribunal
degradinaran je na obicno orudje americkih imperijalnih
interesa. Posto su svojevremeno svi razlozi NATO-rata
protiv vide protiv Srbije raskrinkani kao izmisljotine i
lazi, mediji Zapada i NATO vide u Haskom cirkusu svoju
poslednju priliku, da ponovo nametnu svoje visenje rata
na Balkanu i da time potvrde, da su NATO propaganda i
mediji Zapada bili u pravu. Ovde im je pomogla i
kooperativnost nove vlade u Srbiji na celu sa premijerom
DJindjicem. Oni Srbi, koji se dobrovoljno predaju
Tribunalu, ne vide da su dobrovoljno otisli ne samo da
stave omcu sebi oko vrata, nego i da terete sopostveni
narod za genocid, koji nisu nikada pocinili. Jer zlocina
je bilo i kod Srba, ali i kod ostalih. Medjutim, Srbi
nisu pocinili genocid, kako ih tereti Hag, pa dakle,
Srbija nije obavezna da placa eventualnu ratnu odstetu,
na primer, Hrvatskoj. Na srecu po ljubitelje istine,
kojih ima i na Zapadu, a na zalost NATO propagande,
sudjenje se odvija pred kamerama, koje, naravno, ne mogu
da sakriju i govor Milosevica, koji ima svoju verziju: Da
se on borio protiv albanskih terorista, koji su ubijali
ne samo policajce, nego i civile". Ovo naravno, posle 11.
septembra ima sasvim drugo znacenje, jer govori da je
Milosevic bio u ,,antiteroristickoj koaliciji" pre -
Amerike" Dok je Klinton bio u savezu sa teroristima, sada
Bus stoji na celu antiteroristicke alijanse." N. Z

Nevladina organizacija ,,Hriscani protiv NATO agresije"
Zasto Kostunica nije uhapsio Djindjica
Pol Dejvidson : Da sam Srbin, da sam drzavljanin SRJ, vikao bih do
neba zbog tolikog zanemarivanja medjunarodnog i drzavnog prava *
Ali, da sam Srbin i da zivim u SRJ ne bih smeo ni da pisnem o
krsenju ustava svoje zemlje jer se na celu nalazi dvojac Kostunica
- Djindjic, a ovaj poslednji nije oklevao da kao poslednji
kriminalac izruci Milosevica protivno svim zakonima i ustavu * Nije
daleko poredjenje Djindjica sa Hitlerom: i jedan i drugi su svoje
pravo lice pokazali u ,,noci dugih nozeva"
Vilijem Spring, direktor nevladine organizacije
,,Hriscani protiv NATO agresije", objavio je optuzbu
protiv Vojislava Kostunice, predsednika SRJ :
- Vojislav Kostunica je optuzen za kriminalnu prevarnu
radnju prodaje sopstvene drzave, zanemarivanje svih
pravnih i moralnih principa prilikom podvodjenja drzave
na cijem je celu, pod NATO i tiraniju EU, dalje zbog
propusta da preduzme zakonske mere u slucajevima kada je
za to imao sva ovlascenja, zbog ispoljenog nedostatka
volje da spreci katastrofalne posledice aktivnosti
DJindjica i DOS-a, sto posledicu ima da Srbijom sada
vlada klika kriminalaca.
Karla del Ponte - inkvizitor treceg milenijuma
U svom govoru Pol Dejvidson na londonskoj konferenciji
,,Hriscana protiv Nato agresije", integralno datom,
obrazlozio je optuzbu protiv Kostunice:
- Ono sto me je podstaklo da ovako koncipiram svoje
izlaganje je jucerasnja izjava gospodina Slobodana
Milosevica datoj kvazi-sudijama farsicne tvorevine zvane
Haski tribunal, na celu sa inkvizitorom treceg
milenijuma, Karlom del Ponte.
U vreme kada Amerika gusi dimom svojih bombi Avganistan,
navodno da bi isterala iz neke pecine Osamu bin Ladena,
isti Zapad, ista Amerika optuzuju u Hagu gospodina
Milosevica za - genocid !To je vec previse, ali ima
nazalost jos.
Sto se tice nazovi procesa Slobodanu Milosevicu, da sam
Srbin, da sam drzavljanin SRJ, vikao bih do neba zbog
tolikog zanemarivanja medjunarodnog i drzavnog prava.
Ali, da sam Srbin i da zivim u SRJ ne bih smeo ni da
pisnem o krsenju Ustava svoje zemlje jer se na celu
nalazi dvojac Kostunica-Djindjic, a ovaj poslednji nije
oklevao da kao poslednji kriminalac izruci Milosevica
protivno svim zakonima i ustavu. Nije daleko poredjenje
Djindjica sa Hitlerom: i jedan i drugi su svoje pravo
lice pokazali u ,,noci dugih nozeva". I jedan i drugi su
na identican nacin unistili svoje politicke protivnike.
Sta je predsednik SRJ trazio u Londonu
Ali strasno me pogadja kada sam na nasoj TV video
Kostunicu koji se usudjuje da dodje u Britaniju i drmusa
ruku onom Bleru koji je i svoju zemlju podveo pod
tiraniju EU i NATO. Bler, Stro i Kuk su osobe sa kojima
nijedan posten Englez ne bi smeo da boravi u istoj
prostoriji. To su zvanicno osudjeni ratni zlocinci, koji
su ubijali civile sirom Jugoslavije i na Kosovu.
Oni su oni isti koji sada stimulisu terorizam u
Makedoniji i na Kosovu.
Njihova zivotna zelja je da podvedu Jugoslaviju pod teror
NATO pakta i Evropske Unije.
Na konferenciji za stampu u ambasadi SRJ u Londonu,
predsednik SRJ Kostunica se slozio da je ,,izrucenje
Milosevica Hagu bilo neustavno i protivzakonito". Ali,
postavlja se pitanje : zasto onda gospodin Kostunica nije
sledio slovo zakona i uhapsio i pred srpski sud izveo
glavnog krivca za to krsenje ustava- Zorana Djindjica?
Po mom skromnom misljenju, Kostunica bi opravdao svoj
stav legaliste samo da je Vojsci Jugoalvije izdao
naredjenje da po svaku cenu spreci otmicu i odvodjenje
Slobodana Milosevica.
Tek bi tada bilo sanse da vladavina prava zazivi na tlu
SRJ.
Sto se tice Djindjica, o njemu cu samo reci da je on za
mene slika i prilika nacionalnog izdajnika. Grozio bih se
da zivim u drzavi kojom vladaju Djindjic i njegovi
satrapi.
Dakle, za ocekivanje je bilo da, posle izrucenja
Milosevica Hagu, Srbija dobija silne pare, i sada, kako
vidimo svi se tamo kupaju u bogatstvu. Ali, da li je bas
tako?
Mislim da su Srbi prestali da budu narod onog trenutka
kada su izabrali da dovedu Djindjica na vlast.
Za gospodina Kostunicu imao bih, eventualno samo savet:

Milosevicem na televiziji, jednostavno udjite u kuhinju ,
stavite glavu u plinsku rernu i ucinite konacno pravo,

Otvoreno pismo Remzija Klarka ambasadorima na zasedanju Saveta
bezbednosti UN 11. decembra
Zapretite SAD sankcijama ili vojnom intervencijom
Pentagon je potvrdio da su u proteklom periodu avioni SAD izveli
110 hiljada vazdusnih napada i izbacili 88.500 tona bombi, sto je
isto kao skoro osam atomskih bombi bacenih na Hirosimu * SAD su
korumpirale i ozbiljno kompromitovale UN, unistavajuci ionako
skromne napore za uspostavljanje pravednijeg sveta i humanijih
odnosa medju narodima
Remzi Klark, bivsi drzavni tuzilac SAD, uputio je
otvoreno pismo ambasdorima na zasedanju Saveta
bezbednosti UN 11. decembra. ,,Jutarnje novine" prenose
to pismo u celini.
Postovani ambasadori,
Savet bezbednosti mora direktno da onemoguci napad SAD na
Irak, i mora da obustavi dalje pretnje SAD Iraku.
Takodje, trebalo bi da spreci drzave koje finansiraju,
obucavaju i pripremaju snage za obaranje legalno
izabranog rezima Sadama Huseina.
Bilo koji od pomenutih akata znacio bi krsenje Povelje UN
i sproveo bi prevlast zlocina nad medjunarodnim pravom.
Vojni i ekonomski udari SAD na Irak pretstavljaju
kontinuirano ugrozavanje Konvencije protiv genocida i u
stvari su dokazani zlocin protiv mira i humanosti.
Pentagon je potvrdio da su u proteklom periodu avioni SAD
izveli 110 hiljada vazdusnih napada i izbacili 88.500
tona bombi, sto je isto kao skoro osam atomskih bombi
bacenih na Hirosimu.
Na meti americkih napada u Iraku bili su vodovod,
elektricna infrastruktura, stovarista hrane, fabrike
lekova, skole i verski hramovi. Cela iracka nacija je
kaznjena americkim napadima.
Direktne zrtve bombardovanja Iraka sada su vec narasle do
broja veceg od 150.000, sto izvodjace ove bombaske
aktivnosti cini vanserijskim masovnim ratnim zlocincima.
Od sestog avgusta 1990. godine do danas, Irakom je
zavladala glad, siromastvo, bolestine, povecan
invaliditet, vise spontanih pobacaja nego ikada ranije.
Vise od pola miliona ljudi je umrlo zbog uvedenih
sankcija prema Iraku. Od tog broja skoro 300.000 dece je
umrlo zbog nedostatka osnovnih sredstava za njihov zivot
i medicinsku negu.
Sankcije prema Iraku su na nagovor SAD uvele UN i tako
pocinile direktno krsenje sopstvenog osnivackog akta, jer
se takav cin kosi sa Poveljom protiv genocida. A upravo je
genocid ono sto se desava u Iraku ...
SAD su bombardovale Irak cak i onda kada je prihvacen
program ,,nafte za hranu", kako bi se Iraku makar malo
olaksalo postojece stanje, a i to je izboreno tek na
ogroman pritisak medjunarodne zajednice na SAD.
Projektili i bombe i dan-danas padaju po celom Iraku,
navodno, kako bi ubili Sadama Huseina.
U poslednjem bombardovanju poginula je i Lejla al Atar, u
svetu poznata umetnica, direktor muzeja, supruga, majka,
i, ako hocete bas - ljudsko bice !
Od februara i marta 1991. godine kada je vise od 50 dana
trajalo bombardovanje Iraka, tako sto su avioni naletali
svakih 30 sekundi tokom dva meseca, ostavilo je tragicne
posledice na mentalitet i psihicko zdravlje mnogih
Iracana.
U skladu sa svojim ponasanjem, SAD sprovode i konstantnu
kontrolu svetski znacajnih medija. Dok se na tim medijima
,,vrti" poruka o tome kako je Sadam Husein ,,zlo",tesko
da ce se nesto promeniti.
SAD su korumpirale i ozbiljno kompromitovale UN,
unistavajuci ionako skromne napore za uspostavljanjem
pravednijeg sveta i humanijih odnosa medju narodima. Jos
je zalosnije i tragicnije sto je u tome bez trunke
savesti ucestvovao i Savet bezbednosti.
Navodno, svi americki predsednici se kunu i zaklinju da
ce ,,raditi u korist mira u svetu", a evo rezultata:
ratovi u Koreji, Vijetnamu, Kampuciji, Nikaragvi,
Dominikanskoj republici, Filipinima, Libanu, Kubi,
Liberiji, Gvatemali, Grenadi, Palestini, Iranu, Iraku,
Somaliji, Haitiju, El Salvadoru, Hondurasu, Angoli,
Hrvatskoj, Bosni i Hercegovini, Jugoslaviji, Kosovu i
Metohiji, Sijera Leoneu, Indoneziji, Avganistanu. Ali, gde
je onda taj toliko puta obecani mir ?
Ako uzmete u obzir dosadasnji razvoj situacije, samo
pogledajte medije pa cete dobiti odgovor ko ce biti
sledeci. Kandidati su stalno u zizi.
Da li postoji ista sto je Irak ucinio da bi to bilo
shvaceno kao ugrozavanje svetskog mira ? Ne postoje
zakonski okviri, o moralnom opravdanju da i ne govorimo
za americke napade na Irak. A SAD i sada finasiraju nove
napade i vojne grupe za obaranje legalne vlade Sadama
Huseina.
Sto je najgore, SAD krse i sopstveni Ustav. Iza namere
SAD da u okviru antiteroristicke kampanje posle
Avganistana napadnu i Irak krije se samo zelja da se
zaokruzi dominacija nad regionom Zaliva, Bliskog istoka i
Centralne Azije.
Delujte odmah kako bi ste okoncali sramotu Saveta
bezbednosti i vratili dostojanstvo, samostalnost i
suverenost organizaciji UN i njenoj osnivackoj Povelji.
Ucinite prvi put pravu stvar: zapretite SAD medjunarodnim
sankcijama ili vojnom intervencijom ako se usudi da
napadne Irak - zavrsio je Remzi Klark svoje obradjanje
ambasadorima na zasedanju UN.

Predsednik poslanicke grupe SPS-a u vecu gradjana Savezne Skupstine
podneo saveznom parlamentu predlog deklaracije o medjunarodnoj
borbi protiv terorizma
O terorizmu ne moze po "hitnom postupku"
Terorizam je zlo za svaku drzavu i svetsku zajednicu u celini, jer
krsi najosnovnije ljudsko pravo - pravo na zivot * Vitalan interes
i neodlozna potreba svake drzave je da stane na put zlu koje
ugrozava pravo na zivot njihovih gradjana, da spreci teroristicke
napade i da dovede zlocince pred li ce pravde - kaze se u
obrazlozenju ovog predloga koji je odbijen da se razmatra po hitnom
postupku
Predsednik Poslanicke grupe SPS-a u Vecu gradjana savezne
skupstine profesor dr Oskar Kovac uputio je jos 8.
oktobra ove godine predsedniku ovog veca dr Dragoljubu
Micunovicu zahtev za donosenje deklaracije o
medjunarodnoj borbi protiv terorizma po hitnom postupku.
Iz razloga, kako je naveo u obrazlozenju, sto je
terorizam zlo za svaku drzavu i svetsku zajednicu, jer
krsi najosnovnije ljudsko pravo -pravo na zivot. Vitalni
interes i neodlozna potreba svake drzave, kaze se dalje u
obrazlozenju, je da stane na put zlu koje ugrozava pravo
na zivot njihovih gradjana, da spreci teroristicke napade
i da dovede zlocince pred lice pravde u skladu sa
medjunarodnim konvencijama o antiterorizmu i rezolucijama
Saveta bezbednosti UN.
U Predlogu deklaracioje, koji je, kako saznajemo odbijen
da se razmatra u saveznom parlamentu po hitnom postupku,
kaze se, pored ostalog, i sledece:
,,Duboko svesna pogubnih posledica terorizma sirom sveta,
a posebno na prostorima prethodne Jugoslavije i
podsecajuci posebno na tragicne posledice albanskog
terorizma u srpskoj pokrajini Kosovo i Metohija, juznim
srpskim opstinama i susednoj Republici Makedoniji, a u
zelji da se medjunarodna borba protiv terorizma uspostavi
na osnovu jedinstvenih standarda, normi, mera i obaveza
drzava clanica OUN, Skupstina SRJ usvaja Deklaraciju o
medjunarodnoj borbi protiv terorizma.
Skupstina SR Jugoslavije ovom deklaracijom pokrece
inicijativu da Generalna skupstina OUN, na osnovu Povelje
OUN, donese ,,Rezoluciju o medjunarodnoj borbi protiv
terorizma", tako sto ce rezolucijom utvrditi:
a) Definiciju terorizma i jedinstvene standarde za borbu
protiv terorizma kao univerzalne opasnosti po mir,
bezbednost i ljudska prava;
b) Obaveze i mere drzava clanica u razmeni informacija,
otklanjanju i eliminisanju terorizma na svojoj
teritoriji, ili u okvirima medjunarodne antiteroristicke
aktivnosti koju, u skladu sa Poveljom i pomenutom
rezolucijom, utvrdi Savet bezbednosti OUN;
Skupstina SR Jugoslavije poziva Saveznu vladu, sve
parlamentarne partije, savezne i republicke institucije i
nevladine organizacije, sve gradjane SRJ, da sva svoja
iskustva i informacije stave na raspolaganje drzavnim
organima SRJ, a preko njih Organizaciji ujedinjenih
nacija, za borbu protiv terorizma u nasoj zemlji i bilo
gde u svetu, a u podjednakom interesu mira i licne
sigurnosti gradjana bez obzira na veru, nacionalnost i
politicka uverenja.
Delegacija Skupstine Savfezne Republike Jugoslavije, pise
dalje u obrazlozenju, je na zasedanju Parlamentarne
skupstine Saveta Evrope (Strazburg 24. - 29. 9. 2001.
godine) aktivno ucestvovala u donosenju Rezolucije o
demokratijama suocenim sa terorizmom, tj. o borbi protiv
medjunarodnog terorizma.
U skladu sa Rezolucijom 1258 (2001) Saveta Evrope i uz
podsecanje na gorko iskustvo sa terorizmom na podrucju
bivse i sadasnje Jugoslavije, Skupstina Savezne Republike
Jugoslavije pokrece inicijativu da generalna skupstina
Organizacije ujedinjenih nacija donese rezoluciju o
medjunarodnoj borbi protiv terorizma.
Svetska zajednica mora da pokaze da nece kapitulirati
pred terorizmom, vec ce jos snaznije nego pre podrzavati
demokratske vrednosti, vladavinu zakona i odbranu
ljudskih prava i osnovnih sloboda.
Predlog deklaracije podrzava ideju da se elaborira i
potpise na najvisem nivou jedna medjunarodna konvencija o
borbi protiv medjunarodnog terorizma koja bi trebalo da
sadrzi opseznu definiciju medjunarodnog terorizma,
specificne obaveze zemalja ucesnica, da bi se sprecili
teroristicki akti u nacionalnim i globalnim razmerama i
kaznili njihovi organizatori i izvrsioci (paragraf 10
Rezolucije 1258 Parlamentarne skupstine Saveta Evrope).
Bilo kakva akcija bi morala da bude preduzeta u skladu sa

Deklaracija izrazava podrsku predlogu da se ustanovi

najvece zlo savremenog sveta (paragraf 15 Rezolucije
1258).
Taj mehanizam podrazumeva ratifikaciju Rimskog statuta
Medjunarodnog krivicnog suda i prihvatanje predloga 1426
(1999) Parlamentarne skupstine Saveta Evrope o evropskim
demokratijama suocenim sa terorizmom, ukljucujuci i
princip aut dedere aut judicare - ili izruci okrivljenog
ili sudi (paragraf 16 Rezolucije 1258).
Skupstina poziva drzave clanice OUN i Evropskog veca da
stanu cvrsto ujedinjene protiv svakog teroristickog akta,
bez obzira na to da li su sponzorisani od strane drzave
ili izolovanih grupa i organizacija i pokazu jasnu volju
i spremnost da se bore protiv njih (paragraf 17 tacka 1
Rezolucije 1258) - kaze se u predlogu ove deklaracije

Court throws out case against Nato
One plaintiff (left) lost a son in the bombing
The European Court of Human Rights has thrown out a case brought against
Nato over the bombing of Belgrade's main TV station during the Kosovo
conflict.
Six Yugoslav nationals had brought the case on behalf of the station's
employees, saying the attack, which killed 16 people, was in breach of
Europe's human rights charter.
Nato said Serbian state TV was a "ministry of lies"
They argued that the air strikes were illegal under the charter, which
governs the right to life and freedom of expression, and asked for
compensation.
But the court declared the case inadmissible.
The lawyers for the 17 defendants - the European members of Nato - had
argued that the human rights court did not have the right to judge
because the bombing took place in a country which is not a signatory to
the European Convention of Human Rights.
Christopher Greenwood, a British government lawyer arguing for the
defendants, also stressed that the two Nato members that played a
central role in the Kosovo campaign - the United States and Canada -
were not named in the suit.
Propaganda war
On the night of 23 April 1999, Nato aircraft attacked the government-run
studios of Radio Television Serbia (RTS) in Belgrade, in which those
killed, most of them production workers, had been ordered to report for
work.
The attack was part of Nato's air campaign to force the Yugoslav
Government of former President Slobodan Milosevic to withdraw its forces
from Kosovo.
At the time, Nato defended the air strike by saying the TV station was a
legitimate target because of its role in what Nato called Belgrade's
campaign of propaganda.

regarding the bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999. The group is suing the
Government of Canada for damages stemming from the 1999 military action

As you may have already known, in January this year, we have won a first
battle. Namely, shortly after the filing of the Statement of Claim on
September 15, 1999, that is, on November 1, 1999, the Attorney General
of Canada made a Motion (a motion is a request to a Court) to dismiss
the case.
On January 10, 2001, Judge Justice Sedgwick of the Superior Court of
Ontario dismissed the Motion of the Attorney General, i.e., the Court
decided that we have a right to sue, the matter could go to trial
because Government's argument about ability of the court to decide the
case, to determine international law, and the alleged legality of their
actions are not supportable.
Our case is now before the Ontario Court of Appeal. If this court
dismisses the Motion of the Attorney General as well, our case will
reach the Supreme Court of Canada! Chances for this to happen are real.
However, we have to take it step at a time: we have to improve our
ability to financially sustain the effort.
We must raise at least CAD$15,000 to position ourselves to handle the
immediate step, the Ontario Court of Appeal.

BACKGROUND:
In the course of 78 days (starting March, 1999), Canadian planes
andCanadian pilots were ordered to bomb an innocent and helpless
civilianpopulation of Serbia and Yugoslavia, to destroy their homes and
property, topoison their environment. The result is compounded human
misery, a dangerously polluted habitat, expansion of terrorist activity,
and a destabilisation of the entire region. This act of war was
undertaken against a country that was at peace with its neighbours and
that was not threatening either Canada or any of its allies. It was done
without a mandate from the United Nations, the Parliament of Canada, or
the Canadian people.
Inflicting harm upon the person, life, security, and property of
innocent civilians to convince President Milosevic to desist from his
policies was not only irrational and inhuman; it was a sacrifice of the
well being and rights of innocent people (including Canadians) for the
benefit of another group of innocent people. This cannot be justified
morally or legally. The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms
guarantees the right to life, liberty, and security to every individual
(Section 7) without discrimination based on race, or national or ethnic
origin (Section 15). The action of Canada and NATO has harmed Canadians
and is, therefore, in clear violation of Canadian law.
Justifying the terrible consequences of this action as "collateral
damage" - a hackneyed and blatantly cynical military euphemism - rings
false and offends the civilized mind: HUMANITY IS NEVER MERE COLLATERAL.
The cruel and devastating effects of war on innocent civilians have led
enlightened countries to renounce war as an instrument of national
policy and as a means of settling international disputes. The Hague
General Treaty for the Renunciation of War is binding on all states,
including Canada and the members of NATO - it enshrines the principle
that "Might does NOT make Right".
This principle is also fundamental to the Charter of the United Nations,
which specifies that "all Members shall refrain in their international
relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial
integrity or political independence of any State" (Article 2 paragraph
4). The NATO military action clearly violates these treaties,
particularly since there were no credible attempts to pursue amicable
methods of settling the dispute.
Furthermore, the very agreement under which NATO is constituted was
breached. NATO is a defensive arrangement where military action is
authorized only if a member country is the victim of aggression.
Clearly, there was no aggressive use of force by Yugoslavia against a
NATO country in this case. Rather, the military action was a coercive
measure. It defies reason to think that the killing of innocent people
and the destruction of their property can be a legitimate tool in
international affairs. What NATO has done is to commit an international
crime against a group of innocent people.
More tragically, Canada and other NATO countries have legitimized the
universally condemned principle that "Might is Right".

Planning Croatia's Final Solution
From minutes of the September 12 and September 19,
1993, meetings of the Council for Defense and National
Security of the Republic of Croatia.
That year, Croat forces murdered up to 400 Serb civilians
in the town of Gospic; in 1995 almost 600,000 Serbs were
driven from the Krajina region. This transcript is the
first proof that President Franjo Tudjman planned and
directed ethnic cleansing and other war crimes. The
minutes were obtained by Chris Hedges of the New York Times.
Tudjman died in December 1999.
SEPTEMBER 12, 1993
PRESIDENT FRANJO TUDJMAN: Gentlemen, it seems that
during the last few days we have had a great military
success with the Gospic operation. At the moment when the
whole world is recommending - those from the friendly
countries as well as the others - that we pursue
extreme caution and political flexibility, we nevertheless
let ourselves be drawn, both by the Serbs' provocations as
well as by our own decision, into a situation that,
momentarily, no matter how we interpret it, we have
commenced an attack, which they have survived, and, given
our own preparations, that cannot be hidden. Croatia can
be held to a charge that it is preparing a war with the
Serbs in Croatia.
I must admit, that this is my responsibility, as I have
permitted the Gospic operation. When General Bobetko came
to me with the proposal I took into account the Serb
provocations - small provocations; for example, their
entrance into the Velebit Range, where they killed
some three special policemen, cutting off an ear of one,
then the placing of mines at Pakrac, thereby creating a
certain political climate both in the public and the
parliament - so I accepted the proposal that we are
going into this operation, although I was not informed,
as I later found out, about all the elements. For example,
I knew that Divoselo is Serb, but I did not know that
all of these villages, which we conquered, were Serb.
In that way, too, considering that we were carrying on
the negotiations about a cease-fire, we brought ourselves
into a situation that we can justify only with difficulty,
that at a moment when we were discussing a cease-fire we
turned to a war operation. The members of the international
community followed what is happening and why it is
happening. And then we gave them a little bit of different
material. Do not think that what General Bobetko is
proposing, that we prepare two attacks, that they do not
observe this and they do not have the exact information.
And then, in addition, in our statements we brought
ourselves into a very unfortunate situation.
General Bobetko, I told you that after this operation
it should be explained that they attacked first - that
is, in the Velebit - and that they did what they did,
etc. I said that one has to go before the TV cameras and
show the captured tanks.
GEN. JANKO BOBETKO: That will be this evening.
PRESIDENT: Therefore, we have to attempt to put our
actions in harmony with international policy in order
to regain sovereignty over the whole territory
with international support and in a peaceful way. Of
course, I am not an illusionist to think that we
shall succeed in this, but then we should not
make our tasks more difficult. We have to get ready.
PRIME MINISTER NIKICA VALENTIC: Mr. President, I have
to say a word. President, with the Serbs in Croatia we
shall not solve the problem. The only question is when
is the time to solve it in another way.
PRESIDENT: Yes, I know that.
VALENTIC: Therefore, and this is something of which I
want to convince you, as a man who spent his whole life
down there [in the Gospic area], the Serbs do not accept
any political solution. I think that all we need to do is
to prepare better and hit them from several sides. Thank
you.
PRESIDENT: Prime Minister Valentic, with the Serbs in
Croatia, those who are now leading Knin and Baranja,
no. But that is just a small group, and they still
depend on Belgrade. And the problem is, will the
international community force Belgrade to stop supplying
them?
The moment when Serbia is forced to do this, then we
are going to solve the question of Serbs in Croatia.
Then that miserable group of some 10 to 20 percent will
leave Croatia and then we shall solve that.
And it is clear that we shall not be able to solve it.
But should we begin only with that premise, then that
means war, which the world will not permit. That is not
the only focal point, only the question of national
minorities in Croatia. Such problems exist throughout
the world, in the Soviet Union, Africa, the Middle East,
etc. The international community is oriented toward the
resolution of these questions in a peaceful way - for
example, as the relations between the Arabs and Israel
are being resolved - and that directs us to follow that
path, not by war; whereas in our country there is a
growing understanding that Croatia must resolve the
problem by war, contrary to international norms, meaning
by ethnically cleansing the Serbs from Croatia. That is
happening in practice because we cannot hide that they
have the information that in Slavonia, western Slavonia,
some thirty Serb villages disappeared from the face of
the earth, and that now these three, four Serb villages
were eradicated. This creates a certain picture of
Croatia on which we cannot build our political status
or economic relations with the world. Understand that.
VALENTIC: That is not the issue, President, but this
awaits us in a year again. It is only the question of
timing. This awaits us.
PRESIDENT: Yes, if it awaits us then it means that we
have to prepare also politically, that we have to
prepare ourselves better militarily, and then
we also have to prepare so that after our future
operation they will no longer be able to hit Zagreb.
VALENTIC: President, as you know, there are many
mixed marriages in Gospic; several civilians and old
ladies are in Senj, where there is a certain
concentration camp, and that is where we should take
those that we captured at Citluk and Pocitelj. We
should place them there in an acceptable way and
then show them off and say a few things. Because I
know this for sure - because they asked me to intervene,
a granddaughter of one of these is married to my cousin
- that in Senj there is a concentration area where you
have these refugees from Citluk, Divoselo, and
Pocitelj. Then we show them that we do it in this fashion.
PRESIDENT: That would be very good, very good.
VALENTIC: And then when we display them, we pretty
them up, wash them, etc.
SEPTEMBER 19, 1993
PRESIDENT: Gentlemen, I open this meeting of the
Council for Defense and National Security with the
agenda: the development of the situation concerning
Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croat-Serb relations. In
addition, these UNPROFOR people [U.N. peacekeepers]
and others tell us that we did not have to leave the
cleanest clearance behind us after we retreated.
MATE GRANIC [Foreign Minister]: That is the last news,
the main news of the last twenty-four hours on the
SKY News and CNN.
BOBETKO: We turned over fifty-two, so it was said,
usable Serb bodies, and the rest were removed. There
are some fifty, sixty, in the forest, because it is
more difficult to collect them in the forest. But it
could happen that they [UNPROFOR] entered a little bit
too fast. However, that was cleansed, absolutely. They
cannot find anything over there, at least I think so.
PRESIDENT: Gentlemen, to conclude, I have another
obligation. Three things: no military actions from
our side now and no provocations; prepare to
swallow, because now things are being solved in the
United Nations and it is important to know whether
the Croats are for a peaceful solution or not.
Therefore, continue the conversations with Serbs on
all levels. That is one thing. Second, Mate [Granic],
in Bosnia and Herzegovina under all circumstances carry
through the agreements [with the Bosnians], particularly
everything that we did there - concentration camps,
etc., etc.

After the Ottawa Citizen broke the story, other
newspapers in Canada printed the full story or a
shorter version. The following excerpt is from the
Toronto Star summary of the battle:
The Toronto Star, Tuesday, October 15, 1996, p. A1,13
"Honor for our troops in Canada's secret battle"
OTTAWA (CP) - In 1993, Canadian soldiers fought their
biggest battle since the Korean War. The action pitted
Canadian personnel and French troops under Canadian
command against the war-hardened Croatian army in a
tiny corner of the former Yugoslavia. When the shooting
stopped, there were four Canadian and seven French
soldiers wounded. Croatian media put their army's
casualties at 27 dead or wounded. But until now few
Canadians outside of the military knew of the engagement
or the performance of their troops. It is Canada's
secret battle....
On Sept. 9, 1993, the Croatian army had attacked near
the town of Medak in the Krajina, an area controlled by
Serbs in eastern Croatia. More than 2,500 Croatian troops,
backed by tanks, had advanced into a 35-square-kilometre
area known as the Medak Pocket. After several days of
heavy fighting with the Serbs, the Croats had agreed
to a UN-brokered ceasefire that required them to pull
back to their original lines.
Calvin and French Gen. Jean Cot., head of the U.N.
mission, had agreed that the Patricias would establish
a buffer zone between Serb and Croatian armies. Cot told
Calvin the UN had a credibility problem and needed a
successful mission in Yugoslavia. No more would UN
troops pull back each time the Croats or Serbs attacked.
It was now time to enforce the peace.
Calvin and his men had already endured a 24-hour
Croatian artillery and mortar barrage, and some
Canadians were still shaken. In Medak, where
Canadians manned an observation post, 525 bombs had
landed, and four of Calvin's soldiers had been wounded.
About noon on Sept. 15, 250 Canadian troops and 500
French soldiers under Calvin's command started to move
in between the Serb and Croat front lines.
They were supported by another 375 Canadian soldiers,
including engineers, medics and anti-tank teams. More
than half the Canadians were reservists.
The Serbs watched as the UN troops advanced but did
nothing. The Croats opened fire.
Sgt. Rod Dearing's men of 8 Platoon, Charlie Company,
were digging in around the village of Sitlik when the
Croats attacked.
"The whole place just lit up," said Dearing, a native
of Armstrong, B.C.
"They started firing at us with everything - 20-millimetre
cannon, mortars, machine guns, everything. It was crazy."
The Canadians scrambled into their trenches and returned
fire. During a second attack, the platoon spotted the
Croats. Flashes from their machineguns could be seen
from a hedgerow and trees 150 metres away. After a fierce
firefight, the shooting on the Croatian side died down.
Dearing and his troops weren't the only Canadians
fighting back. Twenty separate gun battles would be
fought that day and night with the Croats.
At 9 a.m. the following morning [Sept. 16], French
troops who were in the rear started moving forward.
Backed by armored vehicles, they moved up past
the Canadians and toward the Croatian positions. By
then the Croats were falling back. Later that morning,
the Canadians heard small-arms fire and explosions,
and saw smoke rising from Serb villages behind the
Croatian lines. The Croats were killing Serb civilians.
An armored platoon started toward the burning villages
but was stopped for 90 minutes by a heavily armed
Croatian unit which apparently wanted to delay
the Canadians, to enable their ethnic cleansing units
to finish their killing and looting. "That was the
hardest thing - to sit there and watch that and be
essentially helpless to do anything," recalled Calvin,
who had moved up to the barricade.
Calvin didn't have the firepower to match the Croats,
but he did have another weapon: A European television
crew and several Serb journalists were with the column.
Calvin gave an impromptu news conference in the middle
of the road, telling reporters the Croats were killing
civilians just on the other side of the barricade. The
Croatian commander, worried about his country's image,
opened the roadblock and let the Canadians pass.
When they finally reached the villages, the Canadians
found 16 bodies of civilian victims. Every single
building in the Medak Pocket, 312 houses and
barns, had been destroyed. More than 130 large farm
animals had been slaughtered. Scattered on the ground
were hundreds of pairs of surgical gloves. It appeared
that more people had been murdered and the Croats wore
the gloves when piling bodies into trucks for removal
from the area.
Days later, the Croats turned over 50 bodies.

Il noto giornalista Vittorio Feltri, intervenendo ieri
19/12/2001 ad una trasmissione televisiva con Lerner e
Ferrara su "La Sette", ha detto testualmente che "e'
molto imbarazzante" la presenza di Slobodan Milosevic
dinanzi alla corte dell'Aia, poiche' dovendolo processare
per crimini "non commessi da lui direttamente, ma forse
da suoi collaboratori, si rischia di farne un capro
espiatorio per tutto quanto successo nei Balcani". Per
evitare questo "bisognava ucciderlo durante i
bombardamenti", ha detto Feltri riferendosi
all'intervento della NATO del 1999.
In effetti Feltri e gli altri suoi colleghi, in grave
imbarazzo per la situazione determinatasi, non hanno molte
vie d'uscita. Sicuramente, il perfetto silenzio stampa
sulle dichiarazioni di Milosevic dinanzi alla corte "ad hoc"
dell'Aia consente ai commentatori di evitare per adesso
di fare i conti con la loro coscienza lurida.
Tuttavia, nel seguito del processo, se i continui
incitamenti a Milosevic a suicidarsi - provenienti da
opinionisti di ogni tendenza politica - non dovessero
sortire alcun effetto, si dovrebbe probabilmente
intervenire con qualche tazzina di caffe' o con una
finestra aperta, per risolvere la contraddizione nella
maniera usuale per noi italiani.
Nel corso della stessa trasmissione, Feltri e gli altri
partecipanti hanno convenuto sulla necessita' di eliminare
anche Bin Laden, e di farlo adesso, per evitare certo di
farne un capro espiatorio, ma anche per evitare che costui,
dovendo parlare dinanzi a qualche corte, si metta a
ripercorrere alcune vicende del suo passato.

Partito Radicale in Via di Torre Argentina, una conferenza stampa con
Carla Del Ponte, "pubblico ministero" del "Tribunale ad hoc" dell'Aia
per i crimini commessi sul territorio della ex-Jugoslavia.
Alla conferenza stampa sono intervenuti a sorpresa alcuni militanti del
Coordinamento Nazionale per la Jugoslavia e della sezione italiana del
"Tribunale Clark", che hanno effettuato domande a raffica alla Del
Ponte. Secondo i contestatori, il "tribunale ad hoc", essendo stato
istituito con una forzatura da parte di membri del Consiglio di
Sicurezza dell'ONU, e non dalla Assemblea dell'ONU, e' illegale; il suo
regolamento infrange norme elementari del diritto, come la presunzione
di innocenza, il sistema degli avvisi di garanzia, il pubblico dominio e
la non-secretezza delle fonti d'accusa e testimoniali; la sua attitudine
e' faziosa e squisitamente politica, come ha dimostrato la veloce
archiviazione delle cause intentate contro la NATO per i bombardamenti
compiuti nel 1999 contro la Repubblica Federale di Jugoslavia.
I contestatori sono stati apostrofati con frasi razziste ed
intimidazioni ("Se sei serbo, che cosa ci stai a fare qui? Vattene!", "E
tu che dici queste idiozie saresti un avvocato?") da parte dei militanti
del Partito Radicale, da sempre in prima linea in Italia nella campagna
a favore della frammentazione della Jugoslavia in "gabbie" etniche e
grandi fautori dello stesso "tribunale ad hoc". Al leader storico del
partito, Marco Pannella, anch'egli presente, e' stato ricordato il suo

Il Partito Radicale, formazione con una infima base militante che pero'
gode di enorme peso mediatico e grandi risorse finanziarie, si ispira
alle idee dell'ultraliberismo, chiede la liquidazione dello Stato
italiano secondo il modello degli USA e nelle sue manifestazioni espone
le bandiere degli USA, della Gran Bretagna e di Israele.
Rome a press conference was held with Carla Del Ponte, "prosecutor" of
the "ad hoc Tribunal for the crimes committed on the territory of the
former Yugoslavia".
Some activists of the Italian National Coordination for Yugoslavia and
the Italian section of the "Ramsey Clark" Tribunal unexpectedly took
part at the conference, repeatedly asking questions and making very
critical remarks to Del Ponte. In the opinion of the protesters, the "ad
hoc tribunal" is a cangaroo court because (a) it has been formed under
pressures by some members of the UN Security Council and not by the UN
General Assembly, therefore is illegal; (b) his rule contradicts basical
juristic principles, such as the fact that one is guilty when this has
been proved and sentenced, not before, the fact that indictments must be
publicly known as well as the sources of proofs and the testimonies'
identity; moreover, its nature is strictly a political one, as
demonstrated by the absence of indictments against NATO for the 1999
bombings against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
The protesters were answered to with racist statements and intimidations
("Since you are a Serb, what are you looking for here? Go home!", "Are
you really a lawyer, so stupid?") by the members of the Radical Party,
which is well-known in Italy for its long-lasting engagement to splitter
Yugoslavia in ethnic "cells" and in favour of the "ad hoc tribunal" as
well. The protesters remembered to the leader of this party, Marco
Pannella, his personal role in Autumn 1991, when he let himself be
photographed wearing the uniform of the Croatian Army, in the vicinity
of Osijek, to demonstrate his support to the ethnic nationalism and
secessionism.
The Radical Party is a group with just a few militants but has a
continuous presence in the media world and, apparently, a solid
financial base. Inspired by ultra-liberalist ideas, at present it is
asking for a "structural reform" of the Italian State to follow the US
model. In the Radical Party meetings, USA, GB and Israel flags are
usually exhibited.
